A pastry war crime

Would of never purchased if id known it was hallow with nothing but sprinkles in the inside. I only found out about it once i scanned it with the app, still took my chances, and I regret buyng it. My spouse found it amusing at least. But no, it makes a mess, a huge waste of money, I wouldn't even give this to my worst enemy.

Only thing good about this cupcake is the frosting

Cake is impressive to look at, frosting is good BUT the cake is unbelievably dry and tasteless, the outside cupcake paper is very hard to remove and the M&Ms. Do not taste as you would expect. I would not recommend this product at all. I love the idea, but the execution of the product was horrible Don’t waste your money.

More for decoration than dessert

The cake is very cute. But cutting the cake is very messy and the flavor is hard to describe, the frosting is greasy sweet with no real flavor and the cake itself is dry but with the frosting in the same bite it's not bad...but not great. I wouldn't buy it again but ....people loved the concept. More for display than anything.

Presentation: 5 Pinata Concept: 5 Cake Texture: 3 (a little on the dry side, but I have had worse) Taste: 3.5: Taste was definately on the sweet side but not crazy, but again, it is relative. I tend to like my sweets. Overall, for the price, the concept and the cake was a good deal. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and watched the video beforehand which showed how to remove the outer sleeve. I did as the video directed and the cake came out pretty flawlessly with minimal mess but we had a plate just in case. It was great fun.
