Stay away from this

Very disapponted. Purchased for daughters birthday. Cake was dry and tasteless, icing was hard. Did not have wow factor when cut into,insides just dribbled out.

Horrible

Cake was dry and thick, lacking flavor. The inside was mostly sprinkles instead of real candy. I purchased this for a party and I was very embarrassed.

A Sweet Treat

This was a Pleasant surprise. There was no wrapper on the cake- so i did not know it was from Carlos bakery. Cut into it and heard the crunching noise, unexpecting to find an assortment of candy to spill out- fun!

Don't Do It

Bought it for my sons birthday, ended up throwing it out. Very dry, the cake has no flavor and the icing is hard and only tastes like sugar. Never again.

Kids liked the idea of it; even they said it’s dry

Dry cake. Fun idea but probably too much stuff inside. Frosting could have been better too. We did leave it out a few hours to get to room temp but still dry and off.

FUN idea, TERRIBLE cake

Maybe if sams made this in house. My 4 year old wouldn't even eat it. The frosting was more like a plaster coating like you use in bathroom repair. Tasted like a cardboard box left in a room with mothballs. Seriously, save your money.

Candy filled cake

The cake was a huge disappointment. Very dry with a strange taste to the cake and frosting. Maybe a cardboard taste? The sprinkles were odd tasting and waxy.

Just don't buy it...

Where to begin?! This cake was nasty. It was dry...just dry. The frosting was dry, the cake itself was dry....even the middle m&m's confetti filing inside was dry! The frosting doesnt taste that bad but the dryness ruined it. Trust me, just buy a Sam's club made cake. It'll be cheaper and way better

Colossal cupcake,more like colossal disappointment

I've purchased many sheet cakes and cupcake trays from Sams in the past and they've all been very delicious, so when I saw this huge colossal cupcake I was excited and just had to get it. Boy was I disappointed. I let the cake sit out on my counter for the 2 hours the directions indicate. First, the cupcake is wrapped in a cupcake wrapper that is very difficult to remove and it sort ruins the side and the top layer of frosting because it gets peeled off with the wrapper. Second, when you cut into it the candy and sprinkles fall out which is cool but then you realize the entire middle of the cupcake is hollowed out to allow all that candy so you're missing out on a ton of cake. Third, the cake is super dry and tastes awful. The date of my cupcake was prepared was the same day I purchased it and I tried it the same day so it's not like it had been on the shelf getting stale. For almost 20 bucks this was a colossal disappointment.

Hard to cut and lacking flavor

Unfortunately, this cake was a disappointment. It looked great. The candy center flowed awesomely, but the flavor was not great. The icing on top was not a good flavor or texture, and the icing in the middle was too sweet. I think there were just too many things going on. The entire cake also fell apart after the first cut and made a huge mess.
