And I have had many over my 65 years and unfortunately I have to wait 30 days to return this horrible mattress. It's supposed to be soft but it feels very firm and I haven't had a decent nights sleep since I got it. I wake up in pain several times every night and I requested for them to come check it and they said that I should purchase a topper (Are you kidding) and they would not do anything about it because they don't guarantee comfort. This mattress feels nothing like the same exact one I tried in the store. I would not recommend this company or their products to anyone. So If anyone purchases this horrible mattress don't say you weren't warned. If you want a mattress look at anything but a Tempur-Pedic !! 3 more days and they get it back :)

Historically I have purchased relatively expensive traditional mattresses with varying success at comfort. For my last mattress, I moved to a well reviewed traditional name brand, memory foam mattress and had a great experience (I thought) for about the first 3 years; ultimately over the course of the last 2 years developing soft spots and a general feeling of sinking into the mattress worse than I had with traditional mattresses. I don't know how the pro-adapt hybrid mattress will fair over time, but I can tell you it is better on one day one than my all my previous mattresses have been, being incredibly forgiving on body curves while still being supportive. I am 6'1", average around 220 lbs, am a side sleeper, and have had two L5/S1 procedures. Where historically I'd turn over due to pressure points in my shoulder, hips or back (traditional mattress) or felt like I was trying to turn over in wet sand (all memory foam), the pro-adapt med hybrid is perfect for my weight and sleeping style. I acknowledge there is generally a price premium to Tempur-Pedic, and I will have to evaluate performance over the long term, but I definitely feel that this mattress type (hybrid) is executed well, suited to my weight and sleeping style, and that I'm getting a better, much less interrupted night's sleep than I have in perhaps a decade (I turn MUCH less). Recommend the brand, but also recommend taking the time to try out and find the correct version for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had a nice mattress, but it was starting to get close to 8 years old and we gradually started waking up with back and hip pain. (Keep in mind we are only in our 30's and active) We decided to order a Tempur-Pedic mattress sight unseen from their website based on some quick research and couldn't be happier. The mattress is perfect and we are thinking about getting them for our kids as well. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good, restful nights sleep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I love our adjustable Tempur-ProAdapt bed. We are both sleeping much better and we love the remote adjust-ability for each of us. We ordered a split King and couldn't be happier. We thought the split might be a problem, but the beds fit nicely together and we barely notice the split. We highly recommend.

My wife is very comfortable and no longer is experiencing back pain in the morning. She is sleeping through the night most nights. I continue to have issues and wake a couple of times most nights with lower back pain... but not every night. This mattress is definitely more comfortable than anything else we have owned. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if that were possible.

Well, our choice was Firm, and it is. It feels like a bench when you first sit on it, but in a few seconds you sink in just enough to be cradled. A perfect balance of 'no saggy spots' and 'no pressure on shoulders, hips, or knees. The other treat is that when either I or my wife get up (in the night) or first out of bed, the mattress does not move/jiggle. You don't know the other has gone - and you just keep sleeping. Our previous mattresses were top quality, but with springs. This one doesn't flex like that - which is great.

I recently had the opportunity to receive a TempurPedic Pro-Adapt (soft) bed, and the timing was PERFECT! I am a very light sleeper, but the husband is not - and he's always fidgety, snoring, talking in his sleep, and waking me up multiple times a night. Add to that insomnia, and it's rare that I get a full night of restorative sleep! My husband also has back issues, and it's not uncommon for him to move to the FLOOR in the middle of the night! Our bed arrived while I was in the middle of my first mural project - I was exhausted but sleeping very poorly. After the first two nights, my husband actually accused ME of snoring! The difference for us is that I don't feel every single movement my husband makes, and therefore wake much less often. And while I still struggle with middle-of-the-night insomnia, the sleep I do get is deeper and with more vivid dreams. I was really re-energized after a few nights with this bed, and completed my mural ahead of schedule! My husband has also not needed to move to the floor at night - this mattress is firm enough for him, but still soft enough for me! One of my favorite things about this mattress is the Smartclimate cooling cover. Hot flashes are a real struggle, especially at night! I still get warm at night, but I don't wake up drenched in sweat like before! Huge win. I would definitely recommend this bed for anyone who is a light sleeper and/or dealing with nighttime hot flashes. We love it!

This is a firm mattress. My husband was ready to return next day. He is a big man so this was a computerized fit for him. I reminded him you have to give it an adjusting period. In the past he has had pain. I have not heard any complaints about his hip or back. I am able to sleep peacefully without him waking me through out the night. Max our salesman took time with us and answered our questions. He was knowledgeable about the products he sells.

I'll keep this simple, this bed is amazing. Motion transfer, ZERO. Really great when your spouse hops into bed like he's doing a cannonball. No, it doesn't sleep "hot". I'm a very hot sleeper and I stay pretty neutral all night. Also, the cool touch thing doesn't matter much once you put a mattress protector and sheets on, so keep that in mind. I've never experienced the "stuck in the mud" feeling. I'm a heavier sleeper so I was worried about this, but thankfully I can turn and get out of bed just fine. You'll have an adjustment period. I've never slept on memory foam and boy is it different. Not in a bad way, but you'll think that at first. Give it a few weeks. Pricey? Yes. But totally worth every penny. We both wake up feeling well rested and have more energy throughout the day. Sleep impacts pretty much everything you do, why not make life a little better?

I started out with an adapt medium hybrid and switched over to the pro-adapt soft during the trial period. I am so glad I did, and just sorry I didn't go with this in the first place! As a side sleeper, the first mattress was too firm for me and I had a lot of pressure points on my shoulders and hips. This one has been great from night one! I fell asleep very easily the first night and only woke up once. I didn't think much of that until I actually got out of bed that first morning. For the first time in at least ten years I had zero lower back pain! And as I walked to work that morning I realized I had more energy than I've had in a long time. I didn't even realize how poorly I'd been sleeping until I got the Pro-Adapt Soft. SO, SO happy with this purchase. Mine is still a little firmer than the one in the store, so I know it's only going to get better and better.
