After 20+ years on a Sealy Perfect Sleeper bed set, my first Tempur-Pedic has performed beyond expectation! Initially thought to be "too firm" the mattress has adjusted my posture alignment and I have longer rest periods as I also tend to awaken less during sleep periods. I am an avid marathoner and I notice aches and tender spots I might go to bed with appear to be gone when I awaken. I am so glad I finally purchased this bed set and look forward to comfortable blissful rests on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great support for your back overall. Very with the cooling feature, it stays pretty cool throughout the night. The hybrid is a great option for me and my wife, we dont get that sinking feeling as much and its much easier to get in and out of bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, firstly, a very comfortable mattress. You don't have that get in, sink really deep into it thing that you do with some fully foam mattresses. The give is, instead, just enough to be really, really comfortable. And it's great for cuddling: your arm doesn't fall asleep. In contrast, I find that I'm definitely getting better sleep on this mattress, and, I don't wake up sore anymore. It's pretty fantastic. I've also found that, compared to my previous spring mattress, I don't feel as much when my partner moves or shifts in the night. I dare say this mattress is even more comfortable than a hammock, and that's saying something. One concern I had with a foam mattress was how warm it would be. Well, my fears turned out to be unjustified: even in an apartment with no air conditioning, in an unusually hot August, I had no trouble with overheating, and I definitely sleep on the warm side. I think this is due to the fact you don't end up sinking into, and being encapsulated in, the mattress. The only downsides I found with this mattress were minor. First, when it arrived, it definitely had a pretty strong plastic smell to it. Fortunately this dissipated after a few days. The other thing I discovered is that, if you don't have sheets that are big enough for the mattress depth, they really don't work! With my old mattress, slightly smaller sheets still gripped the side of the mattress fine. This one, though, has so much give in it that I kept waking up completely wrapped in the bottom sheet! This was rectified by purchasing some sheets that actually fit the 12 inch deep mattress--- but it's a good thing to know beforehand.

I've have semi-quality mattresses all my life. This one kills them all. I bought a FIRM because is stops me from the tossing and turning. I also have Sleep Apnea. 1 Month into this mattress and I'm hooked. I have nights I don't recall tossing or turning. My body is well rested and I'm adjusting to the firmness of my mattress. I also purchased 2 Cloud Firm Pillows and 2 Neck Pillows. All well worth the investment of many years of restful sleep.

My husband and I had slightly different needs and both had been experiencing a lot of trouble sleeping until we got our Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We wake up well rested with no more stiffness! Wish we had bought it a long time ago!

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. My husband and I purchased the Tempur-pedic adjustable bed on the advise of my Dr. We decided on the Adapt-Pro Luxe soft mattress. It was well worth taking his advise! I have joint/muscle issues and this bed truly does seem to take a lot of the stress off the body. I slightly elevate the head to sleep and NO sleep issues! Anyone having acid reflux will benefit from the elevated head. I have had several nights that I will sleep 5-6 hours without waking once. This is awesome for me! My husband claims he is more comfortable on this mattress than he has ever been before...waking totally pain free. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone having pain sleep issues. It is a horrible expense, but well worth the money involved. As for the temper-pedic support folks....they were great helping us solve a child lock shutdown on one of our remotes. I give this product a full thumbs up for sleep comfort.

Normally, I'm a back sleeper and my old bed gave me problems over the last year. My wife suggested that we invest in other bed because she notice the lack of sleep and back problem I have been suffering over the last year. We did our research over the last couple months and came to conclusion that the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid was the bed for us. I have been resting much better and my back problem are resolving itself. I'm a big man and would recommend for the guys like me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Split King with adjustable base: Excellent comfort whether sleeping, reading, watching TV, etc. Definitely worth spending the extra to get the Ergo Extend Adjustable Base so that when you adjust to a more upright position neither you or your mattress slide down toward the foot of the bed. And the mattress does not sleep "hot". (We had the original Tempurpedic mattress for many years and loved it, but decided to upgrade to the adjustable series, which is excellent.)
