I am a small-framed woman who sleeps on back and side. For the first week, I was worried that I had made a mistake, because I woke up sore. But after this break-in period, the mattress has been a dream. Soft-feeling (but not mushy), supportive, and not hot. My husband is a power lifter (bulky but not heavy) and he also raves about it how comfortable it is.

From day one we had the comfort and support that we have always looked for and not found till now. Bed is soft but has all the support for back or side sleeper. There is no sag in any area of the mattress. It does not sleep hot which is a relief. I sleep hot as many mattresses do. For people with back issues this bed is worth a try.

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. BzzAgent and Stearns and Foster provided me with this mattress to sample and leave my honest review, so here it is! I have had this mattress for about a week. I previously had a bed in a box that desperately needed to be replaced. This mattress is just the right amount of support and comfort so that I wake rested and with less back pain than I have had in a while. I don't wake up in the middle of the night uncomfortable and in pain, instead I sleep soundly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am glad this is a soft mattress. I cannot fathom sleeping on anything BUT soft mattresses. Form or medium are just too rough on my back and not good for posture. Definitely different than the mattress in a box that I am used to getting. Set up was a bit tricky. Especially because I wasn't expecting it to stand so high off the floor! It's very thick. very thick. Makes it a bit more difficult to get in and out. But overall that's the biggest complaint I have. It's a nice mattress and I'm confident it will last me for years and years .

He does a lot of sports and the firm mattress is just what he needed. The mattress height is higher than his last so it took a bit of getting used to (especially for the pups who love sleeping with him), but it actually made a better view to his tv so he was very happy. Overall, a very well made mattress that will last us a very long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is beautiful made. I really enjoyed the straps on the side of the mattress. Straps make it easier to lift and pull the mattress. This mattress sits higher than what I'm used to so it took some time getting adjusted in and out of bed. I will make say there were stitches or loss strings in the mattress that should have been cut before selling. Major plus my back feels great so far.

I have only had this mattress for a few weeks, still adjusting to the difference from my last mattress. As of today, I am very happy with my new mattress. My last mattress was a Simmons Fawndale Medium. I ordered the mattress March of 2019 and it only lasted 3 years before it started to sag.

My parents have always bought and loved Stearns and Foster, so when my husband and I needed to upgrade our mattress we purchased a firm King sized Stearns and Foster from the Estate collection. Not only has the new mattress resolved his morning back pain, but I swear we can fall asleep faster and sleep more deeply - and it's only been two weeks! We love how supportive it is, and our large dog LOVES it too :) We truly look forward to getting in bed every night. Highly recommend the adjustable base too for adjusting head and leg elevation. 12/10 recommend.
