We purchased a Stearn's and Foster king, firm, pillow top mattress in March of 2021 and it is sagging and so uncomfortable we had to go purchase a new mattress today, 1/29/2024. I'm very disappointed in the quality of it, since we paid so much for it. I wake in pain in my back, hips and shoulders every day, unless we sleep on another bed.

We owned an S&F king size luxury firm pillow top for 9 years and when my back and knees gave out recently, we decided to purchase the estate king size firm tight top mattress. After just 2 nights of comfortable, excellent support, we feel this is a reliable, well- built mattress and recommend it to anyone with arthritis and/or back problems due to advancing age.

I am a small-framed woman who sleeps on back and side. For the first week, I was worried that I had made a mistake, because I woke up sore. But after this break-in period, the mattress has been a dream. Soft-feeling (but not mushy), supportive, and not hot. My husband is a power lifter (bulky but not heavy) and he also raves about it how comfortable it is.

This Estate mattress has a 12" wide strip across where there is a giant indent, it's especially bad smack in the center of the bed. I couldn't figure out why my back was hurting. I would wake up in the morning completely bent over and not be able to straighten out for a couple of hours. I finally figured out that it's the mattress, It has huge indents where there is no support! After taking all the sheets off and pushing on the different areas of the mattress, I noticed his stripe across the entire mattress which is almost like it's been folded there and the springs have separated. Basically, what happens is your body parked in that area will completely sink in and become deformed to the rest of your body. So that was what was happening to me. I had the worst back pain after buying this mattress for about 2 years. I just figured out The source of my back pain and it's the bed. It's so unfortunate: this was supposed to be a gift to myself and it's been a lemon. I literally sleep better on my couch. And wake up without pain! I

It's a high profile mattress so getting out of bed is a breeze . I have no more back pain when waking up in the morning ,It's honestly changed how I sleep and how long I stay asleep . I would pick this mattress again and again . It has a quilted plush top its so nice it's a non flipping mattress you just need to rotate it every 6 mths or s. It is heavy but it does have handles on the side which helps a ton .

Before receiving this product, I had a memory foam mattress. This Ultra Firm mattress was just what I needed. My low back pain has been reduced and the amount of tossing and turning throughout the night has reduced significantly. I definitely recommend this to anyone with back issues.

We bought the softer SF mattress and was disappointed that the pillow top began to crater after just 3 days. After 60 days, we just couldn't roll out of the crater and decided to get the other mattress that didn't have such a thick pillow top. Now that we've got 30 days into the Estate mattress, it has maintained it's firmness. The problem is that it's way too firm. I am buying a topper in hopes of getting some releif because I can't sleep on it anymore, just too painful. I hope the premium topper provides a better durability thank the SF first mattress. I just can't take it.

I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. We exchanged our Beautyrest Black C Class 14.5 inch King Size Plush Mattress for this because of the body impressions after just the first few days. After going back to Mattress Firm we picked out the Stearns and Foster Estate Pillow Top Soft King to replace it and it has been a great decision. The mattress is just what we were looking for, soft but yet supportive and it bounces back each morning, unlike the Beautyrest we had. I talked to a salesperson at another store who owns a Stearns and Foster Plush mattress and she said it is still going strong after 18 years and claims it is just like the day she bought it. Quality, support and comfort at reasonable in price. What more could you ask for!

About 9-12 months into sleeping on this mattress we noticed back pain from the sagging. We have tried rotating the mattress which helped the first time we did it but now that doesn't even help. It's been 18 months and we already need a new mattress but this one was so expensive we can't purchase another one for a while.
