made with brittle material. cracked and supports broke soon after purchasing. my 10 year old chairs from lowes are still going. have a look at the pictures. we are a retired couple not a household full of kids playing hard on the furniture.

We bought 6 of these for a firepit area. We loved they were large, comfortable and didn't blow around in high wind. Less than 3 years later and *ALL 6* have CRACKED IN THE SEAT. We aren't heavy people. My husband and I both weigh less than 200lbs. No reason to crack. Some of the arms also broke within the first year. Wish they would have lasted longer. We are about to purchase 6 more of another brand that are made of HDPE. Hopefully they last longer as spending another $600 is not ideal.

stainless hardware, easy assembly, nice looking but I think some of the threaded inserts weren't threaded right. tried to make sure I didn't cross thread any of them but two did anyway, and when that happens in these your in trouble. can't back it out cause the stainless screws are too soft. I would recommend these but run the screws through each threaded insert B4 trying to assemble,

I was a little apprehensive about this from the negative assembly reviews, but I am pleased with the product. Getting the backing nuts to line up perfectly with the holes is critical for the proper assembly. I could see how someone could cross- thread the screws if not careful. You can use a slightly narrower Philips head screwdriver to line up the backing nuts through the screw holes, and then the threads align properly.

All four chairs arrived with scratches on the same place on the back of the chair due to a poor design in packing. There should be some padding or cardboard between the chair surfaces, and it also appears that the buttons on my husbands jean pockets are going to scratch the chairs. Metal screws also cheapen appearance of chairs, as does the cupholder. It would have been nice if the screws were black. Overall the chairs are heavy enough considering they are not solid. I knew I wasn't buying Polywood, so I didn't expect Polywood quality. I debated returning them, but it wasn't worth the effort and I don't want to invest in Polywood. Hopefully they will hold up for at least five years.

This chair was so easy to put together. It’s so relaxing to sit in whether you’re reading, sitting around a campfire or enjoying what’s around you. Cup holder is a nice addition and it will hold a large water bottle. I like that this chair weighs lighter than a true Adirondack chair made with wood because I can move it around without needing help even though it’s easier with two people. So happy I made the purchase.

GOODS: Made in USA, easy to assemble, comfortable, 10 year warranty IF you register it, gives an 800 number for complaints & replacement parts or hardware. BADS: It does NOT fold up for storage. One of the pics looks like it folds up, but is simply to show every angle of the chair. It does seem Deceptive, but I don't think it's deliberate. I was able to simulate their pic, but had to lean it upside down against a railing & stand on my head to take the pic. I called to get a replacement screw & nut, got a very pleasant girl & did mention the deceptive pic & suggested removing it.

These were super easy to put together, even for an older woman! Very solid, heavy, won't blow around easily. I plan on leaving them out for the midwest winter, I expect they will hold up. They are very roomy to sit in and comfortable. For this price, can't be beat!

I bet you the people writing bad reviews didn't have the metal anchors properly seated. Especially on the arms, they tend to fall out of place. Most of the bad reviews mention breakage where the chair back connects to the arms. If that happens, you're screwing metal into plastic and it's going to break. I used a small piece of tape to keep the metal anchor in place while I attached the arms. I verified that it's correctly anchored. We'll see if there's any breakage, but I think that solved it. To the manufacturer, some of the metal anchors slot into place, and especially with some force, line up correctly. But you're going to keep getting returns especially because the arm anchor in the back doesn't stay in place as you flip it over.

I was reading the other lower star reviews about assembly and was worried about the bolt comments...if you properly seat the square nut there are zero problems screwing the bolts in! ZERO! Assembly is incredibly easy!!! I saw the comment that they were cheap plastic...no they are not! Max weight is 350lbs on box, I'm 260 and it's solid!!! These are defintely worth the price, I saw similar for sale at 225.00!!!
