Great but.....

Makes great smoothies however the only problem that l have is with the locking system. You real have to twist it hard. If you have arthritis forget it.... Few times during the process it started to leak into the motor which is horrifying because how do you clean it up? I think there should be better locking system for sure.... Mine is already a big mess....

Great Product and Great Customer Service

I bought this in July of 2014 and it recently stopped working. I called their customer service department and spoke to Kimberly A. who was the nicest, and most helpful agent I think I ever dealt with in any company. It was such a refreshing experience as she was able to replace the part for next to nothing (warranty had expired).

Junker after 10 months

After 10 months of using approx. twice a month the blade bearing seal, in the cap, started leaking into the motor section. No longer useable. Unhappy and won’t replace it with another of this brand. Shame on the design team and product testing component of NutriBullet.

Don't Waste Your Money

Machine, parts, superfood blends - all WAY overpriced. I am going back to my inexpensive Oster blender which works way better. The "superfoods" taste awful and are very expensive. Ordered a replacement blade to have on hand (as recommended) and it came in a box with ZERO packaging protection. Not happy with the product performance and certainly not happy with the price. Don't waste your money or your time on this product. It does not live up to the hype.

doesn't meet my expectations

I read the comments below and my eyes were opened! I thought I was overfilling my unit because it leaks. I have tightened it as best I can and still it leaks. I also have found large bits of ingredients that didn't get pulverized. My prior unit didn't have these problems. I just may get a refund

Upgraded from Magic Bullet

I have owned and loved my Magic Bullet for about four years, and used it almost daily, but wanted something with more power. The Nutribullet Pro is everything I wanted! I can grind up a sliced apple with core and skin, celery, carrots, nearly anything! It's fantastic. My advice is to make sure to count when blending and don't exceed 30 seconds at a time to avoid burning out the motor. I think that's why mine has lasted so long.

Do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

I bought this product last year and it worked well for about a month. After that the area on the reverse of the blades started rusting extensively, to the point if it gets wet it drips rutsty water into my smoothie. No matter how tight I put the lid on the lid often comes off during blending (cup is not full) and spews smoothie all over the blender and kitchen. It is a hot mess. The little pins on the side of the cup are also dissolving. I had a Magic Bullet before this and I never had issues with rust or liquid spewing out of the cup all over while blending. It is a mess to clean up when there is protein shake everywhere and I am very disappointed in this product.

Customer service

Guillermo operator #6278 was very courteous and helpful. If I only know that there was an Rx bullet where you can prepare hot soup, I could have waited and bought that. I am happy with me what I have. I have several colleagues at work and we talked about what's best for our smoothies or how to prepare.

If you let it rest, it really does rust

My original grey one broke, it the motor spun on its own after I removed the cup... That looks dangerous, so I bought the pro... I used it approx 52 times that year and then I moved and that took a few months.. My pro sat for this time and when I used it in the new house, I had to do some maintenance to get it running again and replace the gunky bushings. I had nice expensive fruits in it ready to go and it stops..... I smell heated electric wire type smell coming from the non responsive motor. I called Nutribullet and there's nothing they can do except sell me another one. I may try Ninja....

Poor Overall Quality in Long Run

I bought a nutribullet approximately 2 years ago. While it performed satisfactorily in the short-term, it has since dramtatically degraded in several areas of performance. First, and most significantly, every single cup has broken on the tabs which actuate the safety mechanism for the motor, thus effectively making the entire machine useless. Prior to this the blender portion had been increasingly more and more difficult to operate, requiring more force needed to start it (possibly contribuing to the failure of the cups). Thirdly, the blender itself drops off in performance after about a year of average use. Do yourself a favor and invest in a better blender that you won't have to replace in a year or two
