This is the 2nd Tempur-Pedic mattress we have owned. We looked at all options when shopping for the 2nd mattress but we knew the comfort and quality of our first Tempur-Pedic and so the choice was really a simple one. I strongly recommend finding a store where you can try out the various models, we went from a medium firmness with the first mattress to soft on the 2nd one. The mattress conforms to your body, it supports yet cradles your body as you sleep - it's a mattress like no other. You won't regret buying a Tempur-Pedic!!

I am not sure what Tempurpedic changed with their product, but not the same :(. So disappointed with the recent purchase. The last mattress as purchased in 2008 and they no longer manufacture that model. New model that Tempurpedic recommended as closest match was Luxe Adapt.

This mattress is really the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. Definitely worth that price. However, I sleep hot naturally and I should have gone with the 8 degree cooler version. I thought the cooling cover was enough when I tried it out at the store. It's not.

In the store, the soft mattress felt by far the most comfortable for both my wife and I. (Which was in fact a huge surprise to both of us since I thought I needed a hard mattress,) Now we have it home, that 'Ahhh factor' that we hoped for isn't there - at least not yet. That is NOT to say this mattress is uncomfortable. It is at least as good if not better than anything we've had before - which includes various water beds and air/adjustable mattresses. As the salesman told us, do not really judge for at least a month, and we haven't had it that long. Still experimenting with the adjustable bed-frame, so probably haven't found the ideal combination of head and foot placement. One word of warning. We paid the extra for the 'connectable' bed frame. Unfortunately, our phones are old enough that Android 8 is too old to work with the app. Once I get connected and get reports on quality of sleep, maybe we can adjust and improve.

It took me awhile to make the leap to Tempur-pedic but when I did - oh my! Have have chronic pain and this mattress has made sleeping a better experience. Excellent construction and oh so tender on my joints. I would highly recommend this to anyone who deals with chronic pain and suffering - you won't be sorry!!

Let me first say, I never believed that the correct mattress could really affect your sleep until I got the Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt in firm. OH LA LA! My back and neck don't hurt and the best part is that I don't get up when my husband moves around thanks to the balance transfer technology. I am seriously in heaven and find myself staying in bed far longer and even doing some work from bed cause I love it that much. I write this because I really was hesitant and now when I go to hotels or stay at family, I notice a difference in my sleep because of the mattress! I highly suggest investing in your sleep with this mattress!

By far the most comfortable mattress that we have owned. It is extremely supportive and creates no motion at all so you are not disrupted when your spouse or pets move in the night. Makes for a great night's sleep. Any back, hip and neck pain that I had in the morning is gone. I don't even wake up stiff in the morning anymore. No doubt that these mattresses are expensive, but so far we are very happy with the investment.

I received the LuxeAdapt Soft and was very impressed with how comfortable it is. I definitely sink into the mattress, which I love and my sleep has been great. Bought a new Cal King frame and a competitor's product, literally the most highly praised mattress on a half dozen reviews. I admit I was coming from a $16K Queen-sized mattress, so a $3K Cal King would not likely be competitive, but I was shocked at the result - almost immediate backaches from the beginning. After a month of agony, I returned it and went straight to the TempurPedic store in Jacksonville. Awesome staff and help. Struggled with two different ones and on a second visit, finally selected a bit firmer, more akin to the original Queen matress, rather than the new Cal King. Lo and behold, glorious nights' sleep. Tremendously comfortable right from the beginning. Waking up refreshed is worth any price, but this Luxe Adapt-Firm was truly price competitive. Love it!!
