Obviously, the bed is not going to start off as soft as it is in the store. However, we were assured it would only take around 30 days before we would feel a noticable difference, and faster if we walked on the mattress to break it in. Well, I've put in what feels like miles on this mattress and we're closing in on 30 days, and this mattress is still hard as a rock. If we don't feel improvement soon, it's going back.

I had this mattress for 80 days and it was so painful. I would wake up with a sore back and hips each morning. I followed all the advice for breaking in this mattress and it made no difference. I am still doing physical therapy to try and undo the harm to my back and hips. The description says it is cooling but that is not true. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. I also bought 2 expensive Tempur-Pedic pillows thinking this would help, but turned out to be a waste of money. They are very heavy and don't provide any cooling benefit. I found another mattress brand that is much more comfortable, provides the needed support for my back and hips and is cooling.

We upgraded from a queen tempurpedic cloud luxe that we owned for 7 years to the lux adapt soft in King. I'm not sure I can tell the difference with the adapt feature although it must be working because our room is always freezing yet our bed is never too firm and uncomfortable. I have had the bed for about a month now and I am very comfortable (even at 6 months pregnant). Great bed! I also have to say our old bed still works great and is now being used by our 4 year old. We expect many more years of enjoyment out of both mattresses.

We have the split king adjustable. This is the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. I could go on and on, but just remember that you spend a lot of hours on your mattress. A really good mattress is worth the investment. I wish I had figured this out sooner.

I was waking up several times a night on my old mattress and a friend who slept on a Tempurpedic at a hotel suggested that I try one since she had a great night. The first night I slept on it I slept all thru the night. I love this mattress. The pillow is also amazing. Several years ago i injured my back and the Luxe Soft helps me. Best purchase I ever made.

This mattress has changed our life. Its expensive but worth it. Highly recommend. Never slipped better. Im a shoulder sleeper and my shoulder numbness had gone away in one night on this mattress. We have tried other big name mattresses and end up buying new ones just after the warranty has expired( with hopes of the mattress fitting to our needs). When we purchased our Tempurpedic it was immediate results after one night sleep. You do need the mattress to air out after opening. It has a strong oder. Try to get an early delivery or air out over night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old grandson tried the firm mattress when he was visiting. He said it was too firm without a foam topper on it. It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. For 11 Years my wife and I and recently our small child have slept on a Twin XL Tempurpedic Rapsody and changed to King. March 2019 we purchased the King Size Tempur-Pedic Luxe Breeze from Gallery Furniture in Houston, it is brand new and not listed on Tempu-Pedic website yet so I selected the Tempur-Luxe. Tempur-Pedic Luxe Breeze is much better than Rapsody because of the cooling feature and firmness, instead of buying a new motorized box set, we still use the one from before and simply lift left and right side of mattress to make the bed even when we want to watch TV. It is the best mattress and great for two people that had back surgery and issues with our backs.
