Really do not recommend this product at all. Everyone wants to say there is a break in period but nobody is listening to the actual issue. My house is set at 65 due to having asthma and require it to be colder and the mattress is still SOFT. The mattress sinks thru the supportive layers down to the Hard Density foam causing it to feel as your sleeping on concrete. Now the Tempur-pedic website advertises this 13 inch mattress with layers of conforming comfort with a 9cm comfort layer that Comfort Layer - 9cm that conforms to your body to soothe and relax. Then there is a 3cm support layer which includes the pressure relief of APR Material, plus 30% more ultra-conforming comfort. Now convert the 13 inches to cm and you get 33.02 and that means there is only 12cm (4.72 inches) of foam before you are laying on the High Density Foam. Not enough supportive foam to sleep on and not wake up in pain the next morning. I have done this for over a week now in which the store nor Tempur-pedic wants to replace the mattress for a defect. I have laid on my side and my back however my back, neck, and shoulder, consistently hurt. For the price and the competitive brands out there my expectations were a lot higher from this mattress. Now I'm out the money for this mattress and still had to spend more money for another mattress. Extremely disappointed.

This is the best bed ever! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and so many parts of my body hurt, even when I lay down. I was unable to sleep on either side as it caused my hips to hurt. I sink into this bed, and there is no pain! Thanks for creating the pressure point relief. I'm sleeping better than I have in years. I no longer wake up every hour or two.

Although I'm only 25, I'm a registered nurse and I work long hours. I never thought much about our bed quality, until my neck and back started hurting. I couldn't even turn my head properly because of the pain. My first fix was to get a different pillow, it helped somewhat, but didn't solve my problem. So we decided to bite the bullet and purchase one of the most expensive items we have purchased as a married couple! This was the smartest decision we made! We bought this mattress (LuxeAdapt Soft) and tempur-pedic pillows. After 2 nights sleep, my neck and back were like brand new! The support my body gets through a nights rest is exactly what I need to recharge. So happy with our purchase!!! Also ordering online was SO easy. We got our order in less than ONE week!!! Amazing customer service and quick delivery for an amazing product, can't beat that!!!!

We had a Tempurpedic mattress for 15 years that we loved. However, it was a firm model with no plush topper built in. As we age (we're in our 70s), our bodies are less forgiving. So when we decided to get a new Tempurpedic, we opted for this model. We had slept several nights in this model as guests, so we were confident we would like it. It is pricey, but when we think of the time we will use it, and the comfort it delivers, it is definitely worth the investment.

Bought the top of the line Adapt mattress and it has literally destroyed my back. I am now sleeping on my downstairs sofa (and getting a pain free night's sleep) since the horrible customer service has refused to fix the problem. Don't waste your money!

I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain all over my body. I haven't been able to sit up straight like a normal human being in over 2 years. It hurts to lay, turn or slightly move in bed. I just bought the tempur luxe adapt soft mattress. It is wonderful. It relieves the pain on all my pressure points. I mean there's not much doctors can do for me anymore. And the mattress does help the best it can for all the pain I'm in. So for me it's the best thing I've had in 3 years to help relieve pressure while I lay and sleep. Thank you tempurpedic.

Not one to write reviews but read several during my research of this mattresses and took them with a grain of salt. We have owned the original Tempur Pedic mattress (the one that came without different softness levels. You just ordered it by which size you wanted and I guess they just cut a slab of material). We had that mattress for years and after breaking it in from its rock hard state it became quite comfortable. As the years pasted (at least 15) I began to have problems with my shoulders as I sleep on my side. Finally decided to purchase a new mattress. My wife did not want to replace the one we had even though it was long over due as she said it was fine for her. We both had concerns that we may end up with an expensive mattress that was uncomfortable but my lack of sleep pushed me forward. I was about to purchase one of the existing Tempur mattress when a friend of mine told me wait a few weeks as they were releasing a new line. The Tempur Lux-Adapt. He said "Its a whole new animal". Taking his word i waited the 3-4 more weeks (guessed he should know as he was a manager at one of the local mattress stores) and said he tried them out at some show. When the beds arrived at our local furniture (didnt purchase the bed from my friend, sorry buddy) store they had the Lux-Adapt in firm and medium. Since our old Tempur mattress was firm and that was also what the Mrs liked I purchased that in a king size along with the Ergo-Extend base. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This mattress is prefect. I'll repeat what I read in other reviews that we really cant wait to get into bed. Its that comfortable. The Lux-Adapt in firm has just the right amout of compression. You conform to about 3-4 inches is my best guess and then you dont continue to sink further. I am six feet tall and weigh 175 pounds and my wife is small and weighs about 100-105 pounds. The bed is comfortable for both of us. she loves it and I constantly remind her that it was my idea! I am getting great REM sleep again after years of tossing and turning due to shoulder discomfort. Fantastic! The only down side some may find is that it sleeps a little warmer that our original tempur pedic. Probably due to the fact that it comforms better. The only other complaint I have is that I bought a second remote for the Ergo-Extend base only to find out you can only use one programmed remote at a time. This is something that needs to be resolved. A bed at this price point and size you should not have to be crawling to the other side to get the remote out from the bedside caddy. We have two TV remotes on each side of the bed just for this reason. Guess its some liability issue the attorneys told them about. Dont want the Mrs to ask you to get something from under the bed that she dropped only to have her lower it down on you! LOL. Seriously this is a software issue and can surely be fixed. Doing so will make the base more easily usable. Not everyone gets in bed at the same time and dont want to have to hunt for remotes. All and all only minor complaints. Literally loving the bed and the great comfortable sleep we're getting. So glad we made the change and glad I took my friends advice and waited for these new mattresses to arrive. If you are considering a memory foam mattress you have to try out a Tempur Pedic, yes they are costly but they last. Considering how much good night's sleep worth and the length of time we spend in bed annually it can be money well spent.

Our old tried and true Tempurpedic mattress lasted over 15 years before it finally began to show our body indents. I was skeptical when we first got that mattress that it wouldn't make much difference in relieving my back pain as it usually would take my back a good 20 minutes to relax and stop hurting. Thankfully, I was really so wrong; from the first night it was great and I was sold on Tempurpedic for life! Fast forward to our new Tempur-LuxeAdapt Firm mattress and from our new very first night, I'm still sleeping like a happy baby and I'm spoiled for life----but in a good way!

I received this mattress in exchange for an honest review and I'm excited I did! My husband and I have been sleeping so soundly and waking up feeling ready to take on our busy lives with two young kiddos. I'm a side sleeper, so I've had issues with other mattresses with feeling pressure on my arms. I would toss and turn to relieve that pressure throughout the night. I can't believe how the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt relieves that pressure so I don't have to switch around so much. My husband loves the motion cancellation. He says he's noticed a huge difference of not feeling me get in and out of bed since I usually go to bed later than he does. We love our new mattress!
