Honestly the worst mattress I have ever slept on. Horrible back pain immediately and I can't sleep. I can't believe I have to live with it until we have had it for 30 days.... guess I will be sleeping on the sofa for the next few weeks. So upsetting.

We previously had the Rhapsody mattress and after 11 years it was time for an upgrade. That mattress was wonderful but very susceptible to temperature changes. It was like a brick in the winter until it your body temperature Heated it up and Slept warm in the summer. This mattress does not do that and seems to not trap as much heat. This mattress has been great for us. The top layer feels like you're sinking down on a cloud but then there's a very firm layer that provides exceptional support. My husband is a back sleeper and I'm a side sleeper and this mattress works well for both of us.

We were hesitant to purchase, because of the cost. But, with the back pain my husband was having constantly, we figured it would be worth it. And it definitely was. My husband's back used to sink into our old mattress. With the Tempurpedic LuxeAdapt Firm he is not having the back pain at night anymore. In fact, during the day when his back starts to hurt, he goes into the bedroom and rests on our Tempurpedic. He absolutely loves it.

Having owned Tempur-Pedic products since 2000 and having to replace our 23 year old Tempur-Pedic we were amazed at the new things offered. We have opted to get the split king as we are in our 70s and would have the best beds if we were to become bed bound. We have the Split King with the Tempur-Pedic-Ergo Extend Smart Base. Best of the best. We had a regular Tempur-Pedic king on a regular frame for 23 years. If this great set up lasts us as long we will be totally thrilled. Sleeping like a baby in this new bed.

I have had my mattress for about 5 weeks now and I am loving it. At first, it felt really hard and I was nervous, but it has really softened up and is perfect now. It molds to the shape of my body, which helps to relieve stress on my body! I have been sleeping much better than I ever have with my new mattress!

Bought a Luxe-adapt king mattress in June at an authorized Tempurpedic dealer. I informed the salesperson of my health issues and he suggested that the Luxe-adapt soft would be my best choice. After two months of use, my back became so bad I could barely crawl out of bed. I called Tempurpedic and spoke with a "Sleep Expert" and was told that I never should have bought the soft mattress and I need to return it for a "firm". It's now been a month with the firm mattress and my back has gotten worse. I moved into my guest bedroom with a standard mattress and have no issues with pain. I called the head of customer support and was told that they wouldn't do a thing for me. I was told to have my lawyer contact their legal Department and then he hung up on me. This is a very bad product from an even worse Company.

The Temper-LuxeAdapt is in a class of it's own. If you like the feel of memory foam and you want the most comfortable memory foam bed on the planet you have found it. I am having more dreams (which tells me I'm getting deeper sleep) and there is no problem with heat in a 72 degree room. Haven't woken up once.

I was so looking forward to finally having a comfortable mattress, but this is just a sweat bomb. The support of the mattress is nice and it is good for the pressure points, but I wake up soaked in sweat. I was very sad that this one type is not made in a full, I wanted the softness so much that I bit the bullet and got a queen. It makes the space in my room a bit tight. We are in the middle of a heat wave and with no air conditioning I am hating this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old grandson tried the firm mattress when he was visiting. He said it was too firm without a foam topper on it. It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. My experience with Tempur Luxe Adapt soft has made me almost pain free at night and day! I have back problems and arthritis in hips and shoulders. I weigh 165. This bed cushions and supports me like no other. We tried other expensive mattresses and had to exchange them. The support is best for me with our adjustable frame for relief from GERDS. This mattress works great on an adjustable frame. Some other mattresses we tried left me in so much pain all day long. Prior to this we had the Tempur Pro Adapt soft. It was good, but this is better. We also bought the waterproof cooling mattress protector and it really does help keep the heat down. I love our new Tempu LuxeAdapt soft! It's improved the quality of my life. My husband, who can sleep anywhere, loves it too.
