Purchased a couple of weeks ago in my attempt to cut the cable (yea!). Am still very confused about the home page. The "live" tv is really just reruns of old stuff...if I want to watch the current "American Idol" as an example, I will have to figure out what other streaming app carries it and pay for that. The home page seems to be same channels different categories.

A great device, I have multiple devices in various rooms. What am my suggestions would be when the device is lost you have a button on the main box which starts a sound. If you can make this sound louder, it would be helpful for those who have hearing problems, if you could have a light flashing, it would help those who have eye problems. oh and all it’s a great product.

Purchased an Ultra to take over for a built in Roku having WIFI issues. Very happy with the decision. The Ultra's performance is much better than the now 7 year old built in unit. And the rechargeable remote is also a significant upgrade. Wishing now I had done this sooner.

Works good. There's some things that need to be made better. For example. Playing music. Wish there was an option for sort by album. Right now the default is sorting by file name. For video and audio. Wish that you can skip a video or audio to the next file. That should have been standard.

I bought five of these a month or so ago the units themselves work fine the rechargeable remote controls do not. They don’t hold a charge very long and they skip all over the place when I’m trying to land on an icon start up a service it’s especially bad in YouTube skips sideways: or more and up and down 3 or more I saved the remotes from my old Roku ultras and am using them without any problems

So I originally had an older ROKU, it worked ok but got very hot and once and a while I had to remove the power to it to reset it. This little baby is much cooler, is very responsive and not once I've had to reboot it. It's got plenty of memory for your App's and I love the rechargeable remote. I charged it when I got it and it's been a couple of months and I have yet to charge it. So so far it seems to me that the rechargeable batteries are doing a fine job. I love the ROKU system and now they have live channels being streamed. I won't ever go back to cable TV however I'm stuck with their internet which continues to increase.

I had an older Roku stick and some Amazon Fire sticks. I recently decided to upgrade to the Roku Ultra, and I'm glad I did. It's become my primary streaming stick. The main reason is that it has an ethernet port so I can connect it directly to my router and not have to use wifi. This makes streaming much faster for me (no buffering). I also love all the apps with free content as well as the supported apps for paid content.

My new Roku Ultra kept having the Remote status pop up on the screen. At first it wasn’t too bad but now it happens every 15 minutes and the Remote won’t stay charged for more than two days now. I called customer service and was on the phone for 2 hours and after trying all their suggestions, was basically told, too bad for you.

Love the roku ultra.Have other roku's have been using for years. Picture is super sharp and responsive. My only problem is my new roku ultra stops,shuts down and reboots. How do I remedy this? Tried everything I know. If I can solve this I would definitely give stars.

We have been ROKU users since 2013. Most of our ROKU's have been sticks the past five years. Recently decided to try another box and it has had issues. A red screen appears when going from tile to tile in Youtube as well as from movie to movie within some of the apps. There is also a speaker hum that occurs going from episode to episode in some of the apps. Nothing that has been tried has worked. A repair tech was out last week who suggested replacing the mother board on the tv. That did not address the issue either. The last few days we used the built in apps on the tv and found that there was no red screen and no hum. Makes me think it is the ROKU. Have ordered a new cable to see if that is the problem. Will try that as a last resort before ordering another stick. Disappointing when the box costs 2x as much as the stick.
