BzzAgent and Stearns and Foster provided me with this mattress to sample and leave my honest review, so here it is! I have had this mattress for about a week. I previously had a bed in a box that desperately needed to be replaced. This mattress is just the right amount of support and comfort so that I wake rested and with less back pain than I have had in a while. I don't wake up in the middle of the night uncomfortable and in pain, instead I sleep soundly.

After 2 weeks, I couldn't sleep on that mattress anymore. Aches, pains like I never experienced. Everything hurt. That mattress was like sleeping on a cold brick - and the sheets kept coming off! So until our 30 day sleep guaranttee kicked in, I was on the couch. We went back to the retailer and they were great with the exchange. Less than a week later, on our first night sleeping on it (ironically our anniversary!), we both felt a150% improvement in our sleep and felt awesome when we got up in the morning. Delivery and setup was flawless and took no time at all. I've never had a pillow top mattress before and so happy I got to try this one. Over that last couple of years I've suffered from back pain. Only after 2 nights of sleeping on this mattress my back pain has mostly disappeared. For a firm mattress, it isn't stiff and uncomfortable like a lot of other firm mattresses that I've had in the past. It is a little taller than any mattress I've ever had but not a problem for me. Overall I think if you are a larger person and want a mattress that will give you support but also comfort for your hips and shoulders, you'll want to try this estate firm pillow top mattress.

Awful. We got it to replace a 20 yr old S&F. This mattress is a work of pure evil. Underneath you is some sort of material that resembles a thin wool blanket. It will keep you very hot. I've tried sleeping on it for 3 nights, I got 3hrs one night and 2 x 5hrs before being woken by furnace like temperatures. How much of that was REM God only knows. If you like to control your body temp and 'security' by way of your own blankets, seriously look elsewhere. You'll likely find that you'll need to pitch your blankets off which in turn will leave that part of your body getting gradually colder. Their sales documentation states that the mattress takes heat away from the sleeper, that's a lie and false advertising.

I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. My body just feels so relaxed no squirming around to find a comfy spot, I lay down and my body just sinks into the mattress .. usually takes me a long time to fall asleep but I'm not even getting through 1 show anymore I'm out like a light. Perfect mattress!!!

It is thick enough that all of the new sheets fit it too. I hadn't had this brand of mattress before this one and I wish I had tried it sooner. Other mattresses I had in the past were always too soft. This mattress being firm is going to help my back pain and I'm already sleeping better. Before receiving this product, I had a memory foam mattress. This Ultra Firm mattress was just what I needed. My low back pain has been reduced and the amount of tossing and turning throughout the night has reduced significantly. I definitely recommend this to anyone with back issues.
