Dear Rice Krispie Treats, I’m disappointed. You were my partner in snacking, my one and only marshmallow. But once you found out I had Celiac disease, you ditched me quicker than Snap, Crackle, Pop. For a moment, I thought we had something special; that all my late-night vending machine purchases meant something to you. But they obviously didn’t because you had the buttery balls to end things with an “it’s not you, it’s me” text. Like who are you kidding, we both know you are the problem. You're the one who refused to give up that glutenous malt syrup for me. All I did was love you. And it breaks my heart because I still can’t get you off my mind. I can’t stop thinking about your sparkling silver tin foil wrapper and your sugary pockets of marshmallow. Gluten-free bars just aren’t the same. You’ll probably ghost this review but if you still have the sweets for me, can you please make gluten-free Rice Krispie Treats? Pretty please? so i got a big box of rice kripsy treats from my local BJ’s and when my kids ate one it tasted like metal, we tried multiple to see if it was just one but it wasn’t it was more than one. I don’t know if it’s the tin foil wrapper but it doesn’t taste how it used to be.

I remember making Rice Krispie treats as a child-as much as I love the memory it doesn’t taste as good as these bars-kids and adults alike love these-my family is proof and I honestly can’t eat just one and don’t feel horrible for eating these compared to the many sweets in stores now.

We eat so many of these Rice Krispies snacks in our house. Just the right size, not too sweet. A nice quick pick me up in the late afternoon. Great when I need just a little something to hold me until supper. And not bad choice for something sweet to go with coffee.

Kellogg's Rice Krispie Treats are convenient and so much easier than making your own. I made a fun and easy dessert tray by slicing the Treats into sticks and dipping half of each stick into melted chocolate. Some were dipped into dark chocolate, some into white chocolate, some into both, and the rest rolled in mini chocolate chips after dipping. They were pretty and delicious!

I bought a box of rice crispy treats, the multi flavor pack with 16 bars containing chocolate, original, and rainbow. The original rice, crispy treats, taste horrible, they have no butter in them. I am highly disappointed because this shows the product is not being quality checked. I have another box I bought at the same time of all original in the 16 pack, and they taste perfect so I know it’s not me.

I have sampled these on and off through the years since the beginning of their existence (mostly for my kid's lunches). In years past, have been extremely disappointed because making at home always tasted better. It was like these packaged ones were so shiny/oily/had a different taste--- UNTIL recently, I feel like the recipe HAS CHANGED for the better!! I'm hoping its not just me and something with my tastes which is why I am posting and I'm in desperate need of an answer on what has changed in the recipe for the better!!! (writing in January 2022)

I bought a box of 40 count rice crispy treats for valentine's and there were only 36 in the box! I didn't notice at first and wrote on the message area of the wrappers. When I put them back in the box I noticed the missing ones. This is unacceptable.

We love that you put a spot for us to write messages on the rice krispy treat snack bars, but cannot fathom why YOU DONT ’POSITION THE BAR UNDER THE MESSAGE BLANK ?!??! We have to reposition the bar EVERY TIME to be able to write a message, often causing the bag to pop open! Please flip the wrapper reel in the wrapping machine so the specailly created write messags here blank is OVER the bar so we don’t have to reposition them 65 times per box!!

I first had a Rice Krispie treat this past January. Provided snacks for my son’s basketball team. Tried one and have been feigning since then. My concern is the recent change. They melt/fall apart in your hands. Hope this is temporary as not to lose a giant fan.
