After using this product my laundry did have a nice fresh smell. Even so I do not feel that it is worth the money. Downy claims for this product is that it freshens your clothing for up to 24hours. I dont know about you but my clothing sits in my closet for much longer then that on the usual basis. This product would be nice for freshening up an outfit for a date possibly but honestly who wants to rewash clothes just for that? Sorry Downy this missed the mark for me. This item leaves your clothes and other washables smelling clean and fresh. it is comprised of tiny blue pebble things. They left a nice clean and fresh odor to my things after I took them out of the wash and then I put them in the dryer. I have to say the fresh smell lasted several days, so I suspect this product was the reason. The smell was nice, not overpowering. It has kind of a floral smell. I think it would work best with clothes or towels or sheets that need a little help--things that have some odor on them, especially clothes. I won't say that this item is an absolute must purchase, I think if you use the right detergent, one that is scented, you will get nice smelling clothes out of the wash, but I like this product and would probably buy it in the future. Who doesn't want to smell clean and fresh? Might not use on all my items but with summer coming, it might be good for items that have a sweat odor on them. I have been using downy products for a while and they gave never disappointed. This one was no different it made my clothes even the entire smelled fresh and cleaned. The scent lasted on the clothes for awhile. I would definitely recommend anyone to use if you want fresh laundry that last for a long time. I tried this downy product for the first time today and while I loved how great my clothes smelled the little pieces did not all dissolve. But I will say I do not have the best washer in the world. These Downy Fresh Protect beads are amazing. They leave your clothing with an amazing scent that is soft, fragrant and long lasting. I love these little downy sprinkles, they smell so good. I recieved little sample packets and I loved how easy it was to just throw in the washer with my clothes, but I could see how having a resealable container would be nice. you can add as little or as much scent sprinkles as you want depending on how strong you want them to smell. I love this product! I have always wanted to try a freshner for my laundry. When I took my clothes out of the laundry they smelled so fresh! I looooove these. They smell so good omg! I was sent these for free in my Influenster box but my opinions are my own.
