So I got these for free to try, and I absolutely love the way they make my clothes smell. I actually just went to the store and bought a full size product because I used up all of my free samples in like a day (yes, i know that's a lot of laundry #shopaholicprobs). If you're on the fence, I say go for it.

I have bought this product before with a different scent, but this is such an amazing scent! I like that it stays in the clothes for an extended period of time (weeks with my clothes that I've not worn or laundry that's been washed with it prior but not for this round). If you like your laundry to smell good for a looooooooooooong time, this is it! It's so easy to use, just pour the beads in the drum with your laundry, and wash like usual. I loved these beads. The scent was perfect, not too strong and not too light. They were so easy to use. You just pop them in at the start of your laundry. I received them in the mail for free as a sample but I will be buying a full size at my next grocery visit.

Downy Fresh Protect left a pleasant scent on my clothes, but it was pretty overwhelming at first. It was like a strong perfume for my clothes. There is no way my husband would let me use this on his laundry! I appreciated it for my workout clothes and jeans, though. Those are the clothes that i feel are in need of a little extra freshening. AMAZING! Its especially great for line drying clothes in the summer, when I don't use dryer sheets...five stars, LOVE it! I have used it for about a week now, and the towels we take out at bathtime STILL smell fresh and my whole family has noticed and commented on the scent.
