I bought this at the beginning of the 2022 school year for my kindergartener and have used it every day for the entire school year. It’s lasted perfectly and there are no signs of wear. The compartments are the perfect size too. It’s easy for them to open and close which is something I was concerned about. It’d totally recommend this to friends!

Purchased these a year ago after reading so much praise on different websites and forums. I purchased them through a warehouse retailer and they came as a set of 3, green, blue, purple. I have 3 kids in Elementary school so purchased 2 sets to switch day/night washings. My kids love packing their own lunches and easily fill the sections which help with portions. We love that a WHOLE sandwich fits. My oldest may need a bigger adult one when he goes to middle school next year. I love that I’m not using a bunch of plastic bags or containers anymore for their lunches. These bentgo boxes have saved us time and money! Cons: the divider can easily slide out. We found my son had thrown his away in the trash once. Small drink/juice cartons do not fit. Instead we had to switch to drink pouches, and because you can squish them they fit. The shell gets easily scratched and dented on the playground asphalt after lunch and can sometimes be sharp. Some chips will stain the inner seals: like bbq and cheese flavored. Of all the times we’ve used them, they only leaked twice; once with watermelon and once with frozen strawberries.

I bought these Bentgo lunch boxes and they hold up! We’ve tried the knockoff bc of the price but I learned the hard way because I ended up throwing the knock off in the trash after only a couple of uses. I finally caved and voila! They’re the best! I don’t have to worry about staining, smelling, not keep the food warm or cold and light weight which is a plus! I would never go back to any knockoff lunch box! Do yourself the favor and invest in these ! Mom approved!!!!❤️❤️❤️

We started out with the Bentgo Kids Lunch Box in Kindergarten and added in the Fresh Lunch Box in second grade. We have a total of 5 and have never had an issue with leaking. My daughter takes her lunch everyday and we wash them in the dishwasher (no heat).

I was the Mom who just couldn’t find the time to make my kids a lunch for school. I was never sure of what to pack or how to pack it. These boxes have made it so much easier for me and I seem to get better over time with creativity. I pack yogurt and other wet items in them and they truly do prevent any leaks so long as they are locked properly. They are so easy to clean too!! I use the bentgo fresh for my 5th grader and the smaller one for my kindergartener. I put ranch in the small middle round compartment and carrots in his and looks forward to it. Along with sprinkles on his yogurt. These boxes really do make lunchtime fun for my kids!

I want to give this 5 stars because customer service is amazing, but the hinges on my Fresh lunch box have broken twice. I only put the inside in the dishwasher and I am not rough with it, but somehow the plastic pins that hold the hinges on all of our Bentgo containers have had issues breaking. I wish they would use a metal pin that goes into the plastic, which would hold up so much better. I also love that clips close easily. Sometimes I have to wiggle the tray to get it to seat correctly, but once clipped it seals tight. With the broken hinges, I am using rubber bands to keep it closed because don't want to try another one and keep adding to our graveyard of exteriors.

I really enjoy my Bentgo Fresh lunch box. It's the perfect size for my work lunch. I love being able to keep all my food in one box and not have to bother with a bunch of small containers. Also, the adjustable divider is very convenient so you're not stuck with just one size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first bento box I have had for my kiddo and now I'm wondering why I didn't try one before! After using this for lunches, I can see why parents really like to use bento boxes. My kid is almost 11 and can really pack away a lot of food these days - this bento holds a generous amount of food. The Bentgo Fresh is a little larger than the Bentgo Kids, and I think is suited for older kids who just need a little more food. It could definitely be used for an adult as well. The aqua color is beautiful and grown up looking and my daughter was very excited to take it to school. I was immediately impressed by just how well made this box is - everything just works so well, seals up tightly and is locked down like Fort Knox. I am definitely not concerned about leaks with this lunch container! We had a little trouble fitting it in her lunch bag, it fits, but is a really tight fit. My daughter was able to demonstrate that she can get it in and out, so it's now replaced the other little containers we were packing separately! We just pop a flat ice pack, throw this on top, and zip it all in the lunch bag! This is so much easier to deal with and hopefully much harder to lose. I would not hesitate to replace it if it does end up lost - we are now Bentgo converts! Try it - you won't go back to the old way of packing lunches. I am now shopping for a Bentgo lunch bag that goes along with the box.

We purchased this bentgo for our son to use during his year of kindergarten. This box has been amazing because it’s deeper than the children’s version and you can still put little containers and silicone items in there with food. It has room for everything and more and we’ve even use it on our travels. I purchased the kids version for first grade and decided to return it and continue to use this one, that’s how much we like it. Highly recommend!

Sending our 6 year old to grade 1 and a full day of school was a big transition for all of us. I was nervous about making sure he had enough food for the day, but the Bentgo Fresh lunch box was the perfect lunch box to send him with. There is tons of room in the lunch box compared to the snack box he used for 1/2 day kindergarten. Compartments don't leak between them - he loves cucumbers drenched in vinegar and they never spill into his sandwich or fruit in the other compartments. Easy to clean and easy to open/close for little hands. Would defintely recommend this lunch box to young learners!
