I started out with white sheets that were pretty dingy, and they brightened right up! The next test was important, as I wated to next see how it handled odors. I grabbed my dog's stinky kennel blankets (one had an accident) and washed them with this. Let me first say that I have a super sensitive nose, so with other detergents, I can still smell dog on the "clean" blankets after washing. To my surprise, when I took them out of the washer after using the Professional Tide, they DIDN'T SMELL. What?? What is this voodoo magic?? Smelled again, no odor. FINALLY!! I finally found something that removes the smell, not just covers it with artificial scents, which somehow make it worse. Also, this detergent doesn't have a strong scent at all, which makes it perfect for my household. The items come out looking, and smelling, clean, without being perfume-y. It's a yes for me! I believe you can buy it at Staples if you can't find at your local grocery store. It's definitely a new "Staple" for me!

I bought this because of reviews stating the scent was very light and hardly noticeable. This is simply not the case! The fragrance in this is very strong and is reminiscent of cologne. It is nauseating. I used less than the recommended amount and included a second rinse. The items are still incredibly scented. Hoping I can return it because I cannot use it. Just FYI, the formula appears to be almost identical to the Tide Plus Bleach powder, which is available in smaller amounts. I wish I had realized that before I tried this, and not had to order it online. If Tide had an unscented powder, I would be a customer for life. So long!
