After, about an hour later I drank half and gave my mother the other half as she is in need of protein. The taste was good and was easy to drink. The texture was smooth and my mother did not have a problem swallowing it either. Not sure if it works or not due to only receiving one bottle and sharing it. I will buy some for my mom to give it another try as she seemed to enjoy it.

This is mainly because I can remember the hospital and later nursing home giving a similar type drink to my mother years ago. I know that it was a different brand and was in a can but I just thought that this type of drink wasn't for me. However after drinking a sample of Boost Chocolate Sensation high protein drink, I love it now! It had a very good taste! Even though it contained corn syrup and sugar, the drink was not too sweet for my taste. I liked the fact that this drink also contained protein plus 26 vitamins and minerals. It's almost a complete meal in a drink form! I drank this Chocolate Boost for breakfast along with yogurt when I knew I would have a busy morning that turned into an all day out. I didn't feel as hungry or tired as I normally would have been especially when having to eat a very late lunch. I would definitely want to drink Boost again. I think my husband would also enjoy this.

Not to thick and not super thin its the right consistency. The coffee taste isnt strong either. It has 20 grams of protein in it and lots of other vitamins like vitamin d and a and calcium. Very good for your body in the morning to give you a boost before your workday or workout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nestle Boost Rich Chocolate balanced nutritional drink tastes great just like chocolate milk so I actually wanted more than the 8 ounce bottle! It’s chuck full of protein and vitamins which makes it high in calories (250 a serving) and that’s why I rated it a 4 instead of a 5.

The shake is smooth and creamy and has an authentic chocolate taste that is sure to satisfy your hunger or sweet tooth. I have tried a variety of brands of meal replacement drinks and Boost is my favorite so far. The consistency of the shake doesn't leave a gritty texture or artificial aftertaste like some others may. I found it tastes best if you drink it cold or on ice.
