I thought it might be a dark chocolate flavor thank goodness it wasn't. It is such a great chocolate flavor like a good chocolate shake!. I'm shocked how good it taste and its not chalky. Love it!! I gave it 4 stars because I tasted the Cafe Mocha flavor and did not care at all for it but I dont like mocha in general so feel I would have really enjoyed a different flavor.

Wow, it really tastes great, nice texture and no bad aftertaste. My nausea went away and I felt rejuvenated. Excellent way to "boost" your body - nutrients and protein without a lot of calories. I actually like the flavor of the drink and it did do a good job of filling me up while giving me some energy. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the initial smell of the beverage and the 15 grams of added sugar. I would recommend Boost Original Nutritional Drink as a meal replacement or an in between gap stop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Boost in Cafe Mocha, and I am loving this flavor so much, my new favorite, it doesn't have an aftertaste, a truly coffee mocha flavor that seems more like a treat than a nutritional drink, I enjoy the silky texture, and that it is not milky tasting, also perfect for me since I'm lactose intolerant and follow a gluten free diet, I didn't experience any discomfort at all after drinking it, I'm also very pleased to see the amount of vitamins and minerals included in this formula, Boost is helping me cut down on coffee as a pick me up, I drink my Boost and begin to experience a feeling of overall wellness, and alertness without the terrible crash down effect, this is a must try for coffee mocha lovers, it is that good I promise!

Most protein drinks taste like vitamins and leave a nasty after taste in your mouth for hours. This drink from Boost didn't. It was absolutely delicious. I got the flavor mocha cafe and it taste just like a delicious ice coffee. I totally recommend this.

The vanilla has a carmelized flavor that isn't too overbearing and it has just the right amount of sweetness (some other similar products are way too sweet). It also doesn't have an unpleasant after-taste like other similar products I've tried in the past.
