reply from Zevo Insect

Dorothy, our Zevo trap uses a unique blue UV light to attract flies and lure them to their death. Make sure that nothing blocks the trap like curtains or furniture. It also helps to have no other competing lights in the area. Give us a call at (866) 215-1297 if we an answer in questions, or help you further.

These are great in the kitchen. No need for fly spray. Or other chemicals.
