This has such a smooth and light spiced taste. Love to have this neat or in the rocks. This is more expensive than the original maker's mark. Just be careful where you buy because the cost does change. We will buy it again when we can afford to or when we get that bonus.

Love this bourbon in all of its forms,

This is just a great tasting bourbon for all occasions. I especially like the Select version of 46 as they provide unique variations on the theme. We also like looking at different mixes to use with 46 as it is very adaptable to mixing as well. I like to collect unique and hard to find bourbons and whiskeys but always keep the old favorites like this one around. I also like opening my finds and sharing them with friends and bringing them the experience of these fine bourbons.

I have purchased this whisky over and over

I love 46 neat! Not even a drop of water. When I prefer something other than that, I make Manhattans. The deep caramel taste is scrumptious; coupled with some sweet vermouth and a generous splash of bitters, ahhhhhh, a simply delicious Manhattan. Garnished with a pick full of green olives and cherries. Can't be beat!

This has all the good character of the standard Maker's Mark, just amped up a little. The aroma and the taste both have a little more bite, but it's also smoother. The flavor is a bit more complex and you want to let it linger in your mouth a bit to get all the flavors.

My favorite daily sipper!

Maker's 46 is truly a remarkable bourbon. It takes the incredibly smooth and reliable Maker's Mark and adds complexity, a bit of spice, a creamy mouth feel, and a bit more bite on the finish. Still has the incredible nose of cherry and vanilla that turns into a smooth barrel spice and sweet honey cornbread. I'll always have a bottle (or 3!) of these in the cabinet.

I always keep a fresh bottle in stock

I love the smooth taste. The up front taste is like a fright train of flavor and the finish has a nice heat. A 3 finger pour with 2 ice cubes and a cigar.... just the way i like it. But after two....i go for it neat, i like the HEAT. Well done on this Bourbon

October 2017 I discovered Bourbon ! Yum!

Up until October 2017 I did not drink bourbon. I went to the 2017 bourbon festival in Bardstown with my bourbon drinking husband and our bourbon drinking friends. I told the. I would only drink beer and bourbon. We went on a lot of tours! After extensive research, i decided I like Makers Mark, particularly 46, the best! I have been a bourbon on the rocks girl ever since!

No other bourbon comes close to being as smooth!

My favorite bourbon, actually my favorite drink. I like to have it on the rocks. I let it sit for a few minutes so a little of the ice melts and it seems to almost go down to smoothly. The next thing I know I'm asking for another. The difference between 46 and original Maker's is the finish. I can immediately taste the full bodied and creaminess not tasted in original Maker's.

Makes a wonderful Old Fashioned

My favorite Old Fashioned ingredient is Maker's Mark 46. I collect Single malt's and bourbons and have a lot of choices, however my "go to" for an Old fashioned is always either the 46 or a limited edition Makers Mark. It is also very nice to sip neat on the beach as the sun goes down.

Great Whisky!

I drink my Maker's either straight up or in a classic Old Fashioned. I make my old fashioned using 1/2 of a sugar cube, 1 tablespoon water, two shots of your fantastic whisky, one large round ice cube and a thin slice of orange rind squeezed over the drink and dropped in to the glass when done. Just doesn't get any better.
