Makers Mark just gets better and better. The regular is drinkable with just an ice cube or it also makes a bang up manhattan. Best one I had until I tried the 46. It's a “sipping whiskey” but it's so damn good. If you like bourbons, I honestly can't think of one I'd recommend over it. And I have tried so, so many since I spent 21-26 working for a “celeb chef” opening, managing, & getting restaurants up & running so I could move on to the next location. Work 9am to 2-3am and you'd think you'd get less picky about what to wind down with, but nope. Definitely had to be the best & this is one of the absolute bests.

Out of the 2 Maker's Mark I've tried (I've had the regular and this one) this is my favorite. I tend to fine regular Maker's Mark burns my mouth too much but this one seems to be more mellow. Used it in a homemade bbq sauce and it added such a great flavor!

I purchased the box with the topper. The whiskey was absolutely smooth and richly full flavored. I paired it with an ice ball in a tumbler without hesitation. My husband enjoyed the whiskey rocks in a tumbler as well. Even as the ice melted the richness did not dissipate.

This is just a great tasting bourbon for all occasions. I especially like the Select version of 46 as they provide unique variations on the theme. We also like looking at different mixes to use with 46 as it is very adaptable to mixing as well. I like to collect unique and hard to find bourbons and whiskeys but always keep the old favorites like this one around. I also like opening my finds and sharing them with friends and bringing them the experience of these fine bourbons.

I am a fan of Maker's since 1983, introduced by hair stylist. Since then i am fan, Maker's 46, cask strength is my favorite. I enjoy Maker's any which way i can consume it. Several years ago on my 60th birthday i got enough of my Maker's supply. Thanks to Rob and the Maker's team.

Up until October 2017 I did not drink bourbon. I went to the 2017 bourbon festival in Bardstown with my bourbon drinking husband and our bourbon drinking friends. I told the. I would only drink beer and bourbon. We went on a lot of tours! After extensive research, i decided I like Makers Mark, particularly 46, the best! I have been a bourbon on the rocks girl ever since!

I love the smooth taste. The up front taste is like a fright train of flavor and the finish has a nice heat. A 3 finger pour with 2 ice cubes and a cigar.... just the way i like it. But after two....i go for it neat, i like the HEAT. Well done on this Bourbon

Maker's 46 is truly a remarkable bourbon. It takes the incredibly smooth and reliable Maker's Mark and adds complexity, a bit of spice, a creamy mouth feel, and a bit more bite on the finish. Still has the incredible nose of cherry and vanilla that turns into a smooth barrel spice and sweet honey cornbread. I'll always have a bottle (or 3!) of these in the cabinet.
