It is not overwhelmingly spicy and initially it tastes just like honey but then it has a nice kick to it. I believe even most people who may be a little sensitive to spicy foods might still be able to enjoy it. And for those (like me) who enjoy spicy flavors, I’ve noticed that the more (amount) you use, the intensity increases but it it still an excellent balance of spicy and sweet! So much you can do with this honey! So far I’m enjoying it in my morning coffee and I’ve made some of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had with it. Good stuff!

The 100% honey, infused with chili pepper that created the Hot Honey is a must try!! I received the 16 oz hot honey in exchange for my honest review and it definitely has an award-winning taste along with a kick. i drizzle this hot honey on top of breaded chicken, crackers and cheese, and also on top of some pizza as well! everything that I chose to put the Nate's hot honey on definitely complimented the snack in a positive way!

I’ve never purchased Nate’s because it’s a little on the expensive side but I definitely will in the further. It’s a great size and it is absolutely delicious. I love the consistency and flavor. It definitely feels like a higher quality of honey.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this honey. It isn't too hot but it has a heat that builds so you get the full flavor with the spiciness that doesnt detract from the taste. It's hard to rate spiciness on a scale, but I would call it mild overall with the ability to warm to medium as it builds, as long as you don't have some other counter-ingredient that soothes the burn (like cream cheese).
