I squeezed it onto a spoon and ate it directly. It was excellent! It has heat in it but not so much that its overpowering. It has such a richness to the honey. Then I added it to pizza as this was one of the suggestions on the bottle. I wasn't feeling like it would make a huge difference to the taste but was I wrong. It made the pizza taste so much better. It provides a depth of flavor that I hadn't had before on my pizza. Very good product!

It’s definitely got that spiciness to it but it’s not so overpowering the it burns your tongue off. For me it was fine but it may be too hot for some. Definitely good on pizza a fried chicken. Just need to get more creative and think of other ways to use this. Great quality and I love the aesthetic!

I do wish it were a bit spicier as that's my fave flavor profile. I spread if on toast, plain muffins and tried some in my tea. That was the only combo I wasn't happy about since tea should never be spicy. I think those that are hot averse could handle a few spoonfuls of the hot honey.

I can be sensitive to spicy food items so this is something I’ve always wanted to try but just never purchased. I was pleasantly surprised! It tastes like a delicious honey with a mild heat behind it. It’s very interesting and kind of hard to explain but it does add heat and spice but it’s not overbearing at all. I’ve used it on several different dishes and food items and it’s been a great addition to them all. And I also never experienced any problems from it being too hot or spicy. If you’re on the fence like I was go ahead and give it a try, hopefully you’ll be pleasantly surprised by it as well. I will definitely purchase in the future!
