Great Product

I got this a day ago and setup was a breeze, nearly didn't need instructions it was so easy. My old cheap electric power washer kept blowing its hose so I decided to get a better one and this was at a great price. I haven't used it very much but plan to use it a lot in the future for cleaning the vehicles, house, and sidewalks. Got some wooden chairs I need to power wash to repaint and this looks to do the job easy. I also noticed that parts and accessories are easy to find and obtain.

Great Powerwasher

First, it was easy to assemble. Cord and hose have hooks and stay clear of wheels for easy transport. Soldily built. Cord and sprayer hose are long so it give you a lot room to move around. Great power. I'm upgrading from a different brand 1700 powerwasher that had some shortcomings. Glad I did.

I love my new power washer

We bought this a month ago. It was very easy to maneuver, so much easier to use then our gas powered one. I love it and I can power wash anytime I want without needing my husband's help with anything. It did a great job, very happy. Best birthday gift ever.

Works great and no gas fumes!

I just received it yesterday and put it to work today cleaning a concrete patio. It was powerful enough and did a very good job cleaning the concrete. The sprayer wand was not heavy and did not vibrate a lot, no numb feeling in hands. Assembly was simple and product seemed to be of good quality for the price. I am pleased with its operation.

Quiet and excellent pressure

In my first use I cleaned clay mud off of a backhoe and equipment trailer. I could not hear the motor and pump running over the spray noise from the nozzle. Super quiet. The pressure was able to knock caked on clay mud off buckets and teeth with little effort. Nozzle changes were easy. I also bought the extended hose to allow for washing a truck and trailer without having to move the washer unit. The system works as expected.

Works but not well

I used this machine on my driveway and sidewalks. I also used the Westinghouse surface cleaner with it. The surface cleaner didn't work at all. I used the 15 degree nozzle and it got most of the stain off, but it was a slow, hard slog. I hope the HOA accepts the results. It is quiet; I skipped the ear protectors I had to use with my gas washer.

Not totally sure but leaning positive

Ummm, I’m not really sure if the pressure washer is good or bad as my initial usage experience was questionable. Out of the box the unit was pretty easy to assemble, the directions worked, and it took maybe 30 mins from start to finish including reading the entire manual. However, the left bracket where the wheel is supposed to attach was bent such that it was impossible to slide the pin that hold the wheel on far enough to attach the clip to prevent the wheel from falling off. There wasn’t any shipping damage to the box so I’m led to believe this was a factory issue. Note: I also bought a Westinghouse generator that I really like, but it too had some minor factory issues with defects to the metal frame. I ended up having to use a block of wood and do some pounding with a hammer to straighten it up. Ironically, the side that I used the hammer on ended up fitting perfectly such that the wheel could free spin without any drag, whereas the other side was a big tight and the wheel binds while moving. Once fully assembled the washer looks great, specifically with the blue and gray color choices. The motor and fittings all look quality, and there were no leaks anywhere! I will mention that each pressure fitting has 2 rubber packings on it, which usually implies a better product quality as it has 2 seals to prevent leaks as opposed to the cheaper ones with just a single packing. Now the part that leaves me hesitant about my rating for this product came during the initial usage. I followed the directions to a “t”, purged the unit with water before operating, then connected power and turned the pump on. After maybe 10 minutes of usage the electrical pump just shut off and wouldn’t turn back on, and the water pressure dropped off. I reset the power switch…nothing. Reset the GFCI outlet….nothing, but still had green lights on the plug. Reset the GFCI on the plug itself…nothing, but still had green lights on the plug.I finally left it all unplugged and walked over to the faucet and turned off the hose, disconnected the hose to check for clogs, then reconnected the hose and turned on the water. I then reconnected the electrical plug into the other side of the 2 prong outlet and it worked without any hesitation. Upon later investigation I found the unit had popped one of the house circuit breakers which was on a 20A line. Why I had a green light with a popped breaker befuddles me and could be an issuer with the wiring in the house. But, given I was home alone during this time and no other electrical items were powered on in the home…means the unit pulled over 20A! It could be due to the initial breaking process of seating all the seals and wearing the metal sleeves on the pump, but only time will tell. I have used the pressure washer since and it hasn’t popped any of the breakers, so hopefully this was a one off event. Still, poping a 20A breaker should never have happened as that’s a big power draw. The one positive is that Westinghouse has a 3 year warranty on the pressure washer, so my concerns about the item breaking down are a bit relieved.

Adequate, lightweight and convenient

Bought this to replace a gas pressure washer and was not disappointed. It is well designed, sturdy enough to last if properly stored and cared for and has a very small footprint for storage. It performed admirably when cleaning my Pacific Northwest moss covered sidewalks. The self-contained GFCI in the power cord is brilliant.

Works well, some difficulty with assembly

First the assembly. Spent 45 minutes on the second wheel. Tolerances are too tight. Eventually had to file down the hub in order to fully insert the clevis pin. Otherwise, went together smoothly. So far, have only used it for light duty cleaning at ground level. Worked well. Adequate pressure for a homeowner. Easy to maneuver the unit. Did a great job on patio furniture and grill covers. Did a small bit of painted rough-sawn cedar without soap. Did a nice job without damage to the paint. Tips are easy to change. I dislike the need to change tips between the low pressure soap nozzle and a high pressure nozzle in order to soap and rinse. Easy enough on the ground with the standard lance. Having a hard time seeing myself doing this on a ladder with the long extension wand. While we are on the subject of soap, it would be nice if the soap tank had a drain valve.

Quiet but powerful

I love this pressure washer! Had a gas one previously and what a hassle to fill it, add oil, and so heavy and difficult to start. This Westinghouse electric is much quieter and light weight and with a push button start, you don't pull your shoulder out of the socket just to get it started. Very pleased with my purchase:)
