Living in Hawaii, and this unit being shipped from New York, I was concerned about damage. Returning it would be costly and time consuming. When the unit arrived it was in surprisingly good shape. There was a small amount of damage to the carton, but all pieces of the unit were unscathed! I was amazed considering the long voyage and multiple transfers it went through. The unit itself was easily assembled. It took about 30 minutes. I didn't have a rubber mallet to force the racks onto the clips, but used a heavy shoe instead, which worked fine. The casters are high quality and roll over my ceramic tile floor like butter. I put the heavier items on the lower shelves and lighter items up on top. This lowered the center of gravity in order to avoid it falling over when moved for cleaning the floor area under it. I am pleased and would buy more.

I love the wheels on these, as they are sturdy enough to roll smoothly even when the shelves are loaded. The shelves themselves are sturdier, larger, and have larger diameter poles than similar brands. A great size for a stockroom, deep enough and tall enough to hold large plastic bins. The only complaint is that the height means that the top two shelves have to be installed with the unit laying on its side, so put them together in a place where there's room for that. I will buy these again when I have more space.

Always arrive with one shelf damaged beyond repair.

I love these things. I have several in different sizes and have been well made and very sturdy. No sagging in the middle and putting them on the casters has been very handy.

Pretty good shelving for groceries or household items. Metal shelving rodds could be a little stronger. They will bend if hit to hard with a rubber mallet.

I've bought these in the past, and been very happy. Quality assurance must've slipped, though, because two of the shelves came with cracked "cups" (the metal piece on the corners of the shelf that rests against the black plastic clips on the upright rods). I looked into what was involved with returning them: aggrieved customer gets to foot the bill for returned shipping (these are heavy!), etc. Forget it. I found the right-sized hose clamp, and was able to make it work by squeezing the cracked ones. Not good to have to do these repairs on a brand new product, but it seems to work.

The equipment came through fine, though I had concerns because the boxes (bought two) were beat up. Bothe ends open on one of them and one end open or nearly so on the other box. Boxes left out in wet weather and absorbed water on one end. Plastic packing material that was designed to separate/protect the shelves were largely out of place and/or damaged. Despite the shipping conditions, the shelves came through fine and they are solid and good looking shelving units. Easy to assemble with TWO people. Make sure you have the two locking wheels on the same end as you assemble it.

Love it! During shipping, the box was torn and one of the shelves was bent but was still useable. Was able to put it together easily with the instructions and it's spacious and works great in my garage. Very happy with this purchase. Also had the best price on the same shelf after shopping on several sites.

We purchased this shelving unit for our home office, to hold many heavy boxes. This is one sturdy unit! It's on carpet (we didn't put the wheels on), and only one end is butted up to a wall, though not touching it. No problems with it being wobbly. Each shelf holds lots of weight with no problem! This is our fourth unit of this type, and we really like them.

I found this item easy to assemble and sturdy when put together. I ordered three and each one was even faster to assemble. I did put the first two shelves on before screwing the top section of the poles on and I would recommend this method as it avoids having to wrangle four 60 inch poles when putting on the first shelf. Also one of the three arrived with a broken box, with parts exposed and it seems our window was deeply scratched when the box was leaned against our window.
