Well the tires are great! I did a lot of research. However, very disappointed in the morons that installed them. A couple of weeks after installation I noticed a strange feeling in the drive. I stopped at a different Firestone, closer to work, and they discovered some serious issues with the install. First, one of the wheels was almost ready to fly off as 3 of the 5 bolts that hold the wheel on were so loose they were doing nothing. Secondly, they removed all the tires and check the balance. 3 of the 4 tires were 1.5 oz out of balance. That is major! This Firestone place repaired everything, rebalanced the tires and sent me on my way with no charge. So, one bad Firestone experience was replaced by a good Firestone experience.

I replaced my set of LE2's today with the LE3 model. My old set had 53K miles, but they were 10 years old, and I have a trip from TN to AZ this month. The old set had plenty of tread left, and have performed very well, dry, rain and some snow. I am sold on these tires and hope the LE3's perform as well as the old ones have. My Ranger is a 4 cylinder 2WD and I drive like an old man.

I replaced Goodyear Wranglers with these to get better traction on wet roads. The wet traction is definitely better. The first thing I noticed is the steering is a little squirrely with these tires. It's like I have to really pay attention to the wheel and constantly correct or else I'm drifting from side to side in the lane. The goodyears did not do this. Could be they have the air psi too high from 40 to 43. I might deflate them to 36 psi and see how that does. Not as smooth as I'd hoped either; or as quite.

Used the Destination LE and LE2 on my Dodge Dakota. After 3 sets, I traded for a new Chevy Colorado in 2016. The Goodyear tires, 2 sets, only lasted an average of 33,000 miles. Bought the new Destinations LE3, they were lasting up to 55,000 miles on my Dodge Dakota. A NO BRAINER!!! Joe G

I purchased these tires at Miller's Pit Stop in Richmond,Kentucky. I had a set of Firestone tires several years ago and when I got these I didn't really know what to expect from them. But I have been very pleased with them, I get good mileage and the traction is great and I get a good comfortable ride. I would highly recommend this tire.

I spent a while looking at different tires before deciding these were the ones for my Explorer. I liked the tread pattern, the longer milage wear and price! As soon as I got in the road with the new tires I could tell a difference with the new tires. Nice smooth ride, no noise and great traction when it rains. I'm so happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend these tires!

These tires are great for on highway use dry and wet conditions. Snow conditions not well, difficulty steering in corners and requires 4 wheel drive often. Off highway (gravel road) performance not well - easily punctured. Have had to repair tires 3 times in 15k miles use. Originally we purchased these when we lived in the city, however moved to rural home later. These tires are better suited for in town driving where they excel, very quiet and comfortable ride. But if you enjoy the occasional drive on gravel or mud, these will be ok. If you live on gravel or use off road heavily, these are not for you. We would have purchased tires better fit for our area, like the Destination MT or XT series, which we have on a truck. No issues with the MTs.

I haven't had tires for very long and I don't drive off road. I noticed a low pressure light and checked the tire and it had a little "stick" in the side wall. Seems to me the tire isn't strong enough for a stick! I wanted to add a picture but there isn't an option.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. These are the best tires purchased for this or any of our cars. Being a mostly dry climate we wanted a tire to perform well in spring and summer yet still have traction in the winter. These Destination LE3's have all of the above. We're very happy with our purchase and the Store Manager, Drew, gave us excellent customer service.
