I bought this shower (with walls) to replace an older MAAX shower (of similar design) in my basement after its base cracked and some water leaked into the subfloor below. Besides the cracked base, there were other problems with the old shower, so I decided the whole thing needed replaced. I'm somewhat handy, so I wanted to do as much of the tear-out and installation as possible by myself. The base of this new shower appeared thicker and sturdier than the old unit, so it gives me some confidence it will last longer. The drain location for this unit is near the corner whereas my old shower had the drain in the center. This required the drain pipe underneath the shower to be moved a foot or so. I opted to hire a handyman to move that drain pipe (which involved chiseling away a bunch of concrete) and get the base of the shower installed. Beyond that, I finished the rest of the installation myself. This occasionally required the help of my wife to hold something in place for me, but 95% of the time I worked alone. I like the glass enclosure versus my old plastic one. The two large glass pieces were a little heavy to maneuver during installation, but the door operates very smoothly and seems really sturdy. Overall, this shower seems built of higher quality materials than my old one, and I really hope it lasts.

This shower is everything it says! Looks so nice, clean, and crisp! Had no trouble putting it up or together.... instructions are a bit lacking but video helped a lot! Screws were a weird size and had to use my own screws but overall a great product! Enjoying a shower!

I purchased this Jan 2021 for a pretty small bathroom. I found the shower base to be super sturdy with no flexing. It only took one 60 pound bag of mortar to set the form onto the floor. You will want mortar or cement, but not concrete. The aggregate in the concrete will interfere with setting the base. The shower walls were without blemish and while they feel flimsy, they are actually quite durable. The instructions for assembly were just ok, though the YouTube video was good as a backup. Just keep in mind there are a lot of different YouTube videos, so you will need to pick the one that is specifically for your model. One thing that did cause a bit of an issue for me was there wasn't any data on how far away from the shower form wall from the sheetrock. There is a void behind the shower wall, so my rough-in for the valve was too far into the wall, which was frustrating. If you are roughing in a valve, you will want to allow 1-1/2 inches from the surface of the shower form wall to the sheetrock behind the shower form wall. I also kept the film on the form during the installation, only peeling back what was necessary to caulk or to mount the hardware. Once the whole shower was assembled did I peel the rest of the protective film, and there were no scratches in the finish. Once assembled, it is a very solid feeling shower. The door operates smoothly, and having the magnetic strip to keep the water in is a real bonus. The photos are the work in progress.

We have a small bathroom and this unit was a great replacement for our 32” square shower enclosure. The assembly went smoothly. The side walls are secured to the house by screws at the juncture of the dot framing. It has not been a problem but surprising at the lack of attach points. The glass pieces weigh about 40 pounds each. The instructions for the base install calls for cement and I would recommend it. I think there would be soft spots in the shower floor without it.

We are enjoying the nice shower and the rounded curves of the model. It did prove a bit challenging for my guy installing it because there’s a 1 inch lip that doesn’t allow the shower walls to sit flush against the actual walls. Therefore, he had to cut into the walls to push the shower walls as close and flush to the main walls as possible but the shelves are still flimsy and I don’t put a lot on them. Also found that you can’t properly caulk inside if you have both doors already installed. We did need to put shims underneath the doors where they connected to the shower pan because when the doors were open and close, it kept moving and pulling the caulking off the shower pan.

The shower was purchased for a basement bathroom renovation, replacing a 50 year old metal shower cabinet, so it has been a tremendous joy to shower in something so much more modern! I love the open feeling of the glass enclosure, and even at this size there is room for a small stool should I need it as I "age in place". I have one major hesitation, however, at giving this unit 5/5 stars: shelving. The shelves are effectively ornamental in design. With no edge or lip, products can easily be knocked to the shower floor. Even soap won't stay put. This could be easily remedied by incorporating a small lip on the mould for the shelves.

Installed this month. The instructions aren’t super clear but we figured it out eventually. Sometimes with trial and error. They also don’t tell you until you see the instructions that you need to install it on drywall not studs and that you need 1x3’s to build a support.

I had a 28 x 28 " shower, so this shower is definitely a welcomed change. Mine has frosted glass, but I did not see this option in the Ove line up. I had it professionally installed, so did not have the hassles others did. (Also had a wall removed and the shower plumbing moved to the opposite shower wall in this small bathroom.). It works well and it was a great investment for my small space.

Ordered this in Nov. 2021. Arrived about 3 weeks later. After installing the base we opened the glass panel package and found the movable panel was shattered in shipping. We got a replacement a couple weeks later but the pre installed wheel holders were not installed and were not in the parts package. Finally got all the parts a couple weeks later and finished the installation in early February. It’s very nice now that it is installed.

Very happy with this shower so far. Bought it because of limited bathroom space for me; circular door takes less space than a front-opening door. Back ordered and had to wait until Ove production caught up. 15% price difference between two big-box stores. Seems to be several versions of installation manual; contractor used what came with delivered product. Didn't seem to be any problems with installation. Had to add behind-wall support for safety grab bars; good thing contractor knew I wanted those installed before putting shower enclosure up. Happy with purchase..
