[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a Stearns & Foster Estate firm pillow top mattress for free through BzzAgent for review. I've had this mattress for about a month now. Delivery and setup was flawless and took no time at all. I've never had a pillow top mattress before and so happy I got to try this one. Over that last couple of years I've suffered from back pain. Only after 2 nights of sleeping on this mattress my back pain has mostly disappeared. For a firm mattress, it isn't stiff and uncomfortable like a lot of other firm mattresses that I've had in the past. It is a little taller than any mattress I've ever had but not a problem for me. Overall I think if you are a larger person and want a mattress that will give you support but also comfort for your hips and shoulders, you'll want to try this estate firm pillow top mattress.

It is so thick and soft and feels like I am at the best spa in the world when laying on it. It is very heavy so two people are needed for moving! I found that although it is soft, I don't totally sink in which is good!! I have already recommended to friends and family.

I purchased this mattress from Mattress Firm. I explained to the salesperson I had chronic back pain and he showed me the Stearns and Foster. Of course, the mattress in the showroom was very comfortable, but when I got the mattress home, and layed on it, I knew something was wrong. I could feel the coils just from sitting in the bed. My back pain increased dramaticly from sleeping on the mattress. But, I realized the mattress I laid on in the showroom, the top of the mattress was dark blue (which was the Lux). After I realized what I received & what I layed on in the store was different, I immediately called the salesperson. I was told since I got the mattress on a deal they wouldn't take it back. I even went as far to as to speak with the manager...I was told he was the manager. I asked him if he could speak to his manager and explain what happened. I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do because I got the mattress on a deal. WOW...now I'm back again looking for a mattress that does not give me pain. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I hope someone from Stearns and Foster can make this right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is beautiful made. I really enjoyed the straps on the side of the mattress. Straps make it easier to lift and pull the mattress. This mattress sits higher than what I'm used to so it took some time getting adjusted in and out of bed. I will make say there were stitches or loss strings in the mattress that should have been cut before selling. Major plus my back feels great so far.

I have terrible low back pain and on my old mattress I'd wake up in excruciating pain and have trouble getting up out of bed. With the Stearns and Foster mattress I am sleeping better and waking up in very little pain. I definitely recommend this for someone with back pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to receive a free Estate soft tight top mattress from Stearns & Foster to try and give my honest opinion. I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. I should have done better research. I don't think this is the best bed for my back. My degenerative disc disease has only gotten worse. I guess I just had a lot going on at the time and wasn't thinking as clearly as I should have when I purchased it.

I was having aches and pains every morning when I got up. 2 nights on this mattress is all it took! I now get up in the morning with my feet on the floor running. Good bye achy hips and back! I love the support. It's just what I needed! This is the best purchase I have made in years!
