I'm so sorry to learn of your experience. Like you, we expect this product to kill wasps and hornets on contact and eliminate the entire nest. For best results, always treat the nest early morning or early evening when insects are in the nest and activity is low. It may take time for the insecticide to absorb into the insects system. Because your purchase didn't meet our expectations, we'd like to learn more about your experience. When you're free, please send us an email anytime here: https://contact.scjbrands.com/en-us and provide reference number: 019668334A. Or we welcome you to give us a call at 1-800-558-5252 (weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM CT). - Skye, SC Johnson Consumer Care
