[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is a great value. Let me start by stating that I own one of the more expensive other brand “clad” pans in the same size. This KitchenAid is heavier, which means more material for better heat distribution and retention.
What’s not to love—it distributed heat evenly, and cleans up easily, if you do your part. The key is to let it heat up dry for a couple minutes, then add your oil and let that heat up. Then when you add your food it is largely non stick, without the questionable non-stick coatings. Clean up is easy, and most of the time we just pop it into the dishwasher and it comes out fantastically clean.
The only caveat is that in this size, this pan is heavy (which is a good thing in my book), but just know that going in and size down if needed.
Love this pan.
