Zyrtec(generic Citirizine hydrochloride)

This medications has always made me extremely drowsy. I have not taken it in over 2 years. I am 72 years old now, and tried it again. I had a very bad experience with drowsiness. It made me extremely drowsy for over 24 hours.!!! After researching this allergy medicine, I found it can be dangerous for anyone over the age of 60. If you are older, I would avoid Zyrtec(Generic name Citirizine hydrochloride)!!
