The product has a gasing affect, that typically should be resolved in the 1st few days of use, but my gasing experience didn't happen until my 6 months of use. The problem was and is so bad that i had to call the fire department to check the air quality. The chemical irritant was there but it didn't register has carbon monoxide by the fire department. After i spoke with the customer service and care line. All they wanted to do was pass the buck by to the seller, ( Ashley's Homestore Furniture) denying that this is possible. After asking for an email address to forward my comments to the customer care agent, refused to give it. Only giving out business address 1000 Tempurpedic Way, Lexington, KY) to MAIL A LETTER to iin this technological world we live in, how pathetic was that. So my experience with Tempurpedic Ergo Queen Adjustable Base Product, SUCKS....I will NEVER EVER buy another TEMPURPEDIC product again.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TEMPUR-ProAdapt® Medium Hybrid is the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. It's the ideal blend of support and comfort. The high quality material conforms to my body in a good way. My sleep has improved and I am waking up less each night. I also like that the cover can be removed and washed.

I have had this a week now and really hope it will get softer over time. I came from a sealy I series in medium that was too soft so I went with the firm in Tempur-Pedic. It is way too firm. Time will tell but right now not happy with the back aches I have every morning. A lot of money of for something I cannot use.

This whole thing started where my wife and I wanted to upgrade to a king-size mattress and developed back problems over the years. We have two younger kids, so ever minute asleep is needed. We tried two Purple mattresses, and found them to be really stiff after the first few inches of support. This is not good for side sleepers. For side sleepers (especially larger builds), you need to go with Soft to allow for the hips to sink in the mattress, but also be supported. Its the best mattress I've slept on. After struggling for months waking up sore everyday, this mattress worked. The only negative, is that the white-glove delivery did take longer than if it was shipped directly, but saved my back for lugging this up a flight of stairs. Solid trade off.

We went with a medium thinking it was the same firmness as our first. It was not!! But there was no problem switching it to the firm, excellent customer service, by the way, and the second mattress shipped within days. It's just right, not too firm not too soft. I was having back and hip issues and needed constant adjustments. He was a happy customer and was sure this would help solve my problems. I was skeptical, but I valued his opinion. I figured I'd give it a try. I've slept on nothing since. The Tempurpedic is, beyond a doubt, the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. I love that the mattress doesn't tell me where to sleep; I'm in charge of positioning. There are no springs intruding with their input. Further, on my old mattress, there were big indentations left by my husband's and my bodies (we're big people); no such problem with the Tempurpedic. This was my third Tempurpedic purchase; I'll not settle for anything else. As a humorous aside, my daughter supervised the delivery of my new Tempurpedic. After the team put everything together, she plopped herself on it, rolled over a few times and sighed. And Tempurpedic has a new customer!

This mattress was a great purchase! Both my wife and I suffer from back pain and this firm mattress that adjusts has improved our sleep tremendously! We love that we can adjust the height of both the head and feet....this allows pressure to be taken directly off of the lower back. The firmness of the mattress did take a night or 2 to adjust to, but we are so happy with our decision.

I bet 90% of my aches and pains have diminished or disappeared completely since owning my Tempurpedic. I am amazed and so glad I was able to find a mattress that does what it's suppose to. I have owned numerous mattresses in my day but this will be my forever mattress now. They are pricey but if it works for you then worth every penny!
