At first I was a bit concern because I have never had a firm bed before. I was so use to a soft mattress that I was wondering if I made a mistake...., BUT now, I wished that I made this purchase a lot sooner... My lower back and legs are so happy now...! I sleep so well especially since I work the overnight shift, sleep is essential.... ! I need my sleep to function on my shift. This mattress makes my sleep during the day much easier to get. Thank you tempur pedic for making a bed just for me....

It is pretty hard and solid when you first lay down but it is never cold and your body does not have to take time to warm the mattress, I love that. I love that I just slightly melt into the surface of the firmness and off I go to sleep. This is our second firm temperpedic, they are really the best, expensive but they last and the comfort, technology and construction are unsurpassed. Flawless online purchase, competent delivery and set up of mattress set. Satisfied customer for sure.

I sleep very hot but my wife sleep cold. So this bed is perfect not as much cooling as the colling line has but just enough to keep me cold and her not. With my knee problem this bed is a life changer adding the adjustable base and I was all set. Tempur-pedic for life.

My experience is that I REALLY believe the commercials that I see in TV that recommend this mattress to people. At first, I was not able to adjust it to make me comfortable. I had my boyfriend and I sleeping on a slant and we were hanging on for dear life... But now, I got this!!! I have the bed PERFECT!!!! Nothing else need to be said..!

OMG when I tell you, it's the best night's rest you will ever get, this mattress fits my comfort so well. Other mattresses I have used in the past left my entire body sore the next morning. Now I wake up without pain. I couldn't wait to return from vacay to get in my bed. Oh, what a night I had. The only thing I'm unhappy about is that I did not purchase the one that goes up and down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only slept on this mattress for a little more than 30 days. I suffer from sciatica. So far using the adjustable bed in the zero gravity position has help me sleep more comfortable. I'm still not sure about the firmness. It seems to be extra firm. I'm wishing I had gotten a softer mattress. Overall, this mattress is much more comfortable than the previous I own. The thing I don't like about it is the smell. It still has this chemical smell even after 30 days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mattress because I wanted a soft mattress since I am a side sleeper. I find the mattress very comfortable for my shoulders and hips. The mattress slowly conforms to your body shape once you lay on it. Unfortunately, I still find the mattress to be warm. After a few hours of sleeping, I find that I need to kick off my covers due to the build up of heat in the bed. So much for a good night of sleep. I was hoping the cover of the ProAdapt they advertise so well as being cooling would be enough to keep me cool throughout the night but I did not find that to be the case. This is a good mattress is you want a soft bed but you get warm, this is not the bed for you.

We went into our Sleep Outfitters expecting go buy a more standard mattress. After trying several products we were encouraged to try the Temperdic. I have had recent back problems so was not afraid to spend the money on the Pro-adapt. I knew I could return it and choose something else if not pleased. As they say, after 3 weeks use, you will have to "pry this wonderful product out of my cold dead hands." It is just that comfortable. The sales staff at our store was very helpful and not at all pushy.

I wasn't sure about how long the "break in period" would take but after two weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I began to feel the difference and sleep better and better. I thought I bought the wrong firmness but after the 4th week, I knew I made the correct choice. After sleeping on other types of memory foam mattresses for over 10 years, I am totally convinced there is nothing better than my Tempur-ProAdapt. I will never go back to those other types and brands. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for giving me "The Best" mattress I've ever owned. Know more back pains or waking up several times in the night. I can't think of one thing I don't like or am sorry I spent a little more for a Tempur-Pedic. This is a quality product!
