Took a lot of time deciding on a new mattress as they are not cheap... Spend the money! Tempurpedic is a life saver for me and I will never be able to go back to a regular mattress ever. I adjusted to the difference the first week. I used to wake up through out the night with back pain and arm pain as I am a stomach sleeper and never could get comfortable on my old mattress which was a very good quality mattress as well but never could get through the night on it without waking up in pain of some sort... Thinking I am just getting old! Tempurpedic has changed my life.. Seriously. I wake up ready to go and no more aches and pains... Worth every penny!

I defiantly know this because we were given a tempurpedic. firm mattress by accident and it was a terrible fit for us. When we got our hybrid it was amazing to sleep on. Also love the fact I can't feel when my 2 large dogs jump into bed or feel my husband toss n turn! Definitely a smart purchase.

I've been a fan of Tempurpedic since 2004 and recently purchased my second mattress. I also use their pillows and they are wonderful. I get the best night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. The memory foam in this bed is so comforting I usually stay in one position and never move around the bed. PS ~ my yellow lab loves it, too!!

I tested several Tempur-Pedic mattresses in store and determine the ProAdapt Soft model best suited my needs. The mattress was delivered this week and unfortunately, it's much more firm than the model I tested at the store. In fact, it is more firm than my old mattress that I decided to replace due to firmness. I checked the tag to make sure I wasn't accidentally given a medium or firm model, but it says soft. I am giving it the recommended 30 days, but if it does not soften I will ask for a different model or return entirely. My in store experience with the mattress was very high but so far I am disappointed with the mattress I had delivered to my home.

The ProAdapt Hybrid is the BEST mattress i have ever slept on. I am so happy with this purchase and have already recommended it to other friends in the market for a new mattress. My body feels hugged all night long and i wake up very rested. Highly recommend this all!

When you lay on the mattress you get the feeling as if you were in a sound proof room. Your movements are not free raged all over the bed. It's more like your body is absorbed where you lie, and it feels like a very slow quick sand until you fall asleep. It takes like 6 to 7 months to really soften up to your sleep positions, but is still firm enough to support your back. If you have an adjustable base it will not conform as well as the softer mattresses because it is Firm. Unless, you use the new lumbar support adjustable base by TempurPedic. Although, while laying down, it flexes some; it needs body weight. I have tried several mattresses from Sleep Number, to Purple mattresses even Hybrid mattresses and Organic mattresses. Tempur pedic is the best one, especially if you have joint pain, musculoskeletal issues and fibromyalgia this is the mattress for you. Also, if you have sensitive skin it is great since it doesn't compress the skin, is dust-mite resistant and less likely to attract bedbugs. I chose a Firm mattress, because I know over time the mattresses get softer. Also, I didn't want to have to buy another mattress for a very long time. Of course you choose one to your own comfort and needs. I do recommend you go to a Tempur Pedic store first and try the different types, do your homework before you make a selection. Remember your bed is the one place you go to release, relax and rest..choose it well. Its the one investment you won't regret!

I have gone through 4 mattresses in 4 years. They were either poorly built, too soft or too firm causing back aches or sore presser points. I have both hips replaced and one knee. I purchased the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 7 weeks ago. This mattress is awesome! It is supportive without being hard. You feel yourself being cuddled without sinking into it. It is easy to move around in. I normally sleep hot but with their cooling technology I'm cool and comfortable all night. It used to take me quite a while to fall asleep, Not now, I fall asleep right away. I used to toss and turn through the night, now I can fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night waking up in the same position. I'm both a side and back sleeper and this mattress is great in either position. I can't say enough about this mattress. It cost more than my other mattresses but it is well worth it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. I look forward to going to bed and sometimes go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I have the adjustable frame which makes it even more awesome. If you had to jump from a burning building onto this mattress you would die... it's hard as a rock, does not contour and hot! The mattress in the store is wildly different than this one. No side sleeper should ever try this. The fact my sales rep recommended it as ok is criminal. I haven't slept in weeks. It's 4am and I just moved to the couch. Don't buy this mattress it is not what is advertised in store!!!
