Has taken awhile to adjust and still a work in progress. Harder or maybe denser than I like. There was a Tempur-Pedic sales rep in store that day. Sales person ask what I was looking for in new mattress and my sleep patterns. Told her I had good experiences with euro pillow tops while traveling. But she recommended the mattress I purchased over the pillow top. Not sure if might have been more satisfied or not with pillow top. But do wonder about my choice due to the firmness and breaking in period. Know I could return for a fee but will try to make this one work. I am sleeping more sound. So will probably be ok.

Originally we had gotten a new basic spring mattress. When we were still having trouble getting a restful sleep we went back and traded it in for the Tempurpedic Pro Adapt soft. This was the best decision we could have made. This is truly the best sleep my husband and I have ever had. We sink in and fall right asleep. We will never go back to a spring mattress again.

I recently had the opportunity to receive a TempurPedic Pro-Adapt (soft) bed, and the timing was PERFECT! I am a very light sleeper, but the husband is not - and he's always fidgety, snoring, talking in his sleep, and waking me up multiple times a night. Add to that insomnia, and it's rare that I get a full night of restorative sleep! My husband also has back issues, and it's not uncommon for him to move to the FLOOR in the middle of the night! Our bed arrived while I was in the middle of my first mural project - I was exhausted but sleeping very poorly. After the first two nights, my husband actually accused ME of snoring! The difference for us is that I don't feel every single movement my husband makes, and therefore wake much less often. And while I still struggle with middle-of-the-night insomnia, the sleep I do get is deeper and with more vivid dreams. I was really re-energized after a few nights with this bed, and completed my mural ahead of schedule! My husband has also not needed to move to the floor at night - this mattress is firm enough for him, but still soft enough for me! One of my favorite things about this mattress is the Smartclimate cooling cover. Hot flashes are a real struggle, especially at night! I still get warm at night, but I don't wake up drenched in sweat like before! Huge win. I would definitely recommend this bed for anyone who is a light sleeper and/or dealing with nighttime hot flashes. We love it!

We have owned 3 TEMPUR- PEDIC mattresses, our first one purchased in 2004. It was the best mattress we ever owned. I would like to see the old ones brought back. Next one was too soft, so we bought this one. For me, it's too hard and too high. We are getting older and it's hard to get in bed with the height. We own an adjustable base, would like to see a base that allows me to control how high the bed is.

I first purchased a king Cloud Bed in box mattress and literally couldn't sleep for 2 months. I had extreme hip, back and neck pain on my right side and was waking up at 3am every night. I finally upgraded to the Pro Adapt Soft and since then, I've had the best sleep of my life! I know the high end mattresses are expensive but if you're in the market for a foam bed, find the room to upgrade. Pro Adapt is a game changer!

I am a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress for 25 years. It was time to upgrade to a new one, so I purchased a Tempur-ProAdapt Medium mattress together with their ProSmart bed base 10 months ago from the Tempurpedic website. The mattress is somewhat comparable to my 25-year-old Tempurpedic mattress but took some time to get use to how much lighter the mattress is and the dimensions of it. Which brings me to this review. I thought a buyer should know that the measurements of the mattresses sold are not 60 x 80. My mattress is 58 X 78 (2 whole inches less) than a typical standard queen size mattress. Their website does have a caveat stating the sizes are approximate, but the two-inch difference in size does cause issues with my fitted bottom sheets bunching nightly because they do not fit tightly on the mattress. I then bought sheets from the Tempurpedic website because they supposedly were designed for their beds and have straps on them to keep them in place but unfortunately, they also bunch up. I mistakenly bought three sets from Tempuredic thinking they would work better for their mattresses, but they do not. In fact, after opening up and using just one set, the other two are sitting in my linen closet unopened. I absolutely love their smart base and highly recommend it. Overall, the Pro-Adapt mattress took some getting used to it since it is built differently from the one I bought 25 years ago, but I still wouldn't trade it for a traditional mattress. The bunching of the bottom sheet during the night is a real nuisance though.

My wife Loves the new be as for me I wish there was a middle ground between softer bed and this medium hybrid. I really like a little more of that feeling of a sinking in. If you are a HOT sleeper all the fancy sheets, Hybrid technology does not totally resolve the heat problem. It is Cool when getting in bed and if when you do get hot you just have to move to cool of for a short period of time. Talking to others all the new memory foam beds have this issue with heat no matter how many fancy features they add. Quality wise this bed is made to last

We had owned a Tempur Pedic for about 15 years before buying this one. Our primary reason for doing the upgrade was to get the split king. My wife suffered tremendously from COVID. The ICU medical team said she would not survive when they removed the ventilator. But the LORD had a different plan and she is with us today. But she can no longer sleep in a flat position. So we needed a bed that would allow her to elevate her chest and head. We tried a less expensive mattress but sent it back after about three months. We bought the Tempur Pedic and now every night is great again.

I sleep best on a firm mattress and this one doesn't disappoint, providing it doesn't break down. I've had mine for nearly 1.5 years and need to make a warranty claim. Every morning, my partner would sit on the edge of the bed while he put on his socks, shoes, etc before work. The firmness has gone and I feel like I have rolled into a hole. Remember the bowling ball mattress where they drop the ball onto the mattress but it doesn't disturb the glass of red wine? This mattress is not like that. I feel every move my partner makes. I wish I had gotten the split mattress! Maybe I wouldn't feel so much movement????

We bought this mattress to replace a memory foam mattress that we had for almost 10 years. We've had this one almost a year and now I spend most nights on the couch. It is very uncomfortable for my husband and myself. We don't sleep well, we wake up tired and sore. We have the Proadapt soft and it is not soft at all. I'm sorry but we slept better on our cheaper mattress. I can not recommend this mattress especially at the price we paid for it. We are looking for something else to replace it.
