We had tried standard box spring mattresses, Sleep Number, and a firm mattress with a pillow top. None were as adaptable and supportive to our contours as this Tempurpedic. We picked up the pillows when we purchased the mattress while waiting for mattress delivery, and they are a definite 10 as well.

It used to take me forever to fall asleep and I would toss and turn throughout the night, often waking up throughout the night. I cannot be more pleased with my mattress. I never thought a mattress like my hybrid existed. It has by far exceeded ALL standards of perfection for me. I struggled with the price, trust me I did. My husband and I had our old hybrid about 10 years and were beginning to experience back and neck pain. We purchased this mattress and immediately knew we made the right decision and our sleep improved greatly. There isn't anything I don't like about the mattress. However, my husband, who is heavier, says because the mattress conforms to your body, he tends to sink in more and when he wants to turn over he feels like he has to almost dig himself out. But after a couple of weeks he's adjusted and it's ok now.

I now do not feel my wiggle worm husband move around all night or getting in and out of bed. The edges are firm so you don't feel like you're sliding out the edge of the bed when getting out. The two mattresses stay in place with no problems. There is a split between the mattresses but barely noticeable. It is a little more effort to make but only because we have separate twin sheets so wiggle worm doesn't pull mine off all night. Be are both stomach sleepers so the firm mattress supports us in that position. Best night sleep I've gotten in years other than moving to another room when he kept waking me up! Make sure you try out firmness levels at a local store if you're ordering online.

The effect was immediate, no more tossing and turning nights. It took me a few nights to realize that I was sleeping so soundly that I wasn't awake tossing and turning, looking at the clock or getting up to go to my recliner. My aches and pains are gone or lessened. The mattress does not move when my husband does. The mattress is what it is hyped to be, a wonder.

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. The mattress felt very firm from the start. It is not softening nearly as much as I want - it's still not like the showroom mattress or the two different soft tempur pedic mattresses I've slept on in the past. I'm 3 1/2 weeks in to the 'break in' period and I hope it improves soon. I'm disappointed - I was really looking forward to a great experience.

my husband and I purchased a tempuric mattress in 2021. The first months of use we loved our mattress. However, today, with two years of use, we clearly feel that the mattress is very sunken where we sleep. We feel a hole where we lay. Both me and my husband are feeling a lot of back pain, especially when waking up, we believe that this is due to the mattress being completely uneven, lumpy, sagging and without structure. I would like to point out that we are not fat, so there is no overweight on the mattress and we don't spend many hours lying down either. We go to bed around 10 pm and wake up between 7 am and 9 am. It's not worth the price, for in two years the mattress will be completely bad, uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on.
