AFTER deliverymen set up bed and we made up with new linens, we discovered registration form required serial number from a tag on underside of mattress on headboard side. My elderly wife had to completely strip and take off the mattress to find it. The tag should be more accessible or the delivery process should have done this in advance. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My previous bed was also a Tempurpedic. I used it for 10 years and it was time for a change. The new ProAdapt (firm for me) is incredible. I'm a side sleeper, and this bed provides the firm support I need. I don't like the feeling of sinking into a bed, so if that's your thing, look at a medium or soft version of this mattress. I also bought the Ergo Extend adjustable base and it's a must have if you read in bed or watch TV. Yes Tempurpedic beds are very expensive compared to the competition, but I believe that over time, they provide the best value. The firmness extends to the edges of the bed, making getting into and out of bed much easier on my back. Check it out and get one!

My husband and I had a popular brand 5 year old "hybrid" mattress. I began to wake up every morning with sore achy hips and back. I decided that the mattress was too firm for me. We went mattress shopping at a local furniture store. I had no intention of even looking at ANY foam mattresses. I had always heard that they were over-rated and slept "hot." The sales lady strongly suggested that I lay on a Tempur-pedic just to try it. I told her i wasn't interested, and proceeded to try out other brands, but didn't find one that I just loved, or that was soft enough for me. I finally tried out the Tempur-pedic Pro Adapt Soft and was shocked at how much i liked it! It didn't take long to decide to purchase it. Fast forward 2 months...this is by far the most comfortable mattress we have ever had!! No more aches and pains in the morning, and no it does not sleep "hot." We are 100% happy with our purchase!!

Bought the pro adapt firm model and just don't love it . Too firm ... wish we would have gotten the medium one . Missed out exchange window and was told there is nothing they could do. Very disappointed since we spent so much money on it . Was hoping they would let us exchange it at least .

I cannot remember the last time I've slept this good. For most of us, with age come things like body aches and restless night. But not anymore! This mattress has been a life changer. I no longer wake up tired and achy, I wake up alert and ready to start the day! I was worried about the overall feels, a my husband prefers a more firm mattress and I like softer. However to my surprise it has been a great happy medium! Just soft enough to where I still feel like I'm on a cloud, yet firm enough where he doesn't feel like he's sinking in! They really do mean it when they say it conforms to every contour and curve. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

We selected the "firm" as per in store examples and seemed to be okay and comfortable, The mattress that was delivered is as hard as our floor. We added a topper which did not help. After 3 weeks I have finally created a somewhat softer area that I stay within but getting up is more like climbing out! My wife has since moved to the sofa as she has prior back issues. This is the worst excuse for a mattress ever created!

Let me just start by saying that this mattress has literally changed my life. I used to sleep on a traditional spring mattress (that was over 10 years old). I would wake up everyday in pain and not have a restful nights sleep. I could never get comfortable no matter how hard I tried and my sciatica didn't help. I finally decided to break down and try a Tempur-pedic mattress and I'm so glad I did! I fall asleep instantly and wake up refreshed. Plus, I wake up up without any pain ready to take on the day! I can't imagine my life without this mattress! It's the best investment I've made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We slept on an old, lightly used traditional guest room mattress for over 10 years that was given to us when we got married. This is a completely different and improved experience for us. I sleep on my back with wrist braces on and rarely turn side to side. I was having back pain each morning and would awaken early due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. We decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. When shopping we came across many hybrids but when they told us that tempur-pedic was the brand recommended by doctors for people with back problems I was sold. Why not get the mattress I might need in the years to come anyway- its like wearing orthotics in your your shoes. We went for the hybrid model to have a little more structure to the mattress but got the more expensive version of the model we were looking at to get the few more inches of foam and I think it was worth it. Hopefully it may make our mattress comfortable for longer (that is our hope). I no longer wake up multiple times a night due to back pain or hearing the springs move and make noises when my husband tosses and turns. We both sleep much better. I no longer look forward to taking trips and having to sleep on a different mattress, because now I love mine and I know that nothing will match it when we travel. It's actually a great feeling to know that your best sleep is the sleep you have at home a majority of the time. I do recommend the 5'' bed base, the 9'' was too high and we would have needed a stool to get into bed. I really wanted a 7'' which is my one recommendation to temper-pedic but the 5'' feels natural for us when getting in and out of bed for people our height (5'6"-5'10"). We have had the mattress for 4-5 months now. We would definitely buy it again.

Purchased recently and now am concerned about it containing truly toxic materials...having hard time getting clarity. Does not seem to have any environmental certifications. I assumed being a top name it would be fine, but now the more I look into it the worse it sounds....

The product has a gasing affect, that typically should be resolved in the 1st few days of use, but my gasing experience didn't happen until my 6 months of use. The problem was and is so bad that i had to call the fire department to check the air quality. The chemical irritant was there but it didn't register has carbon monoxide by the fire department. After i spoke with the customer service and care line. All they wanted to do was pass the buck by to the seller, ( Ashley's Homestore Furniture) denying that this is possible. After asking for an email address to forward my comments to the customer care agent, refused to give it. Only giving out business address 1000 Tempurpedic Way, Lexington, KY) to MAIL A LETTER to iin this technological world we live in, how pathetic was that. So my experience with Tempurpedic Ergo Queen Adjustable Base Product, SUCKS....I will NEVER EVER buy another TEMPURPEDIC product again.....
