Not as soft as in the store. But even though it feels hard - there are no aches and pains in the morning. I just like the feeling of snuggling in. I had a tempuredic topper which was soft like heaven. Thought bed would be the same. But again, nicely adjustable and absolutely no pains in the morning.

After the first night my husband woke up without the usual pain in hips and shoulder. We love our new bed. Neither of us have ever slept in such a comfortable bed before. We are about 3 weeks in and so pleased with our decision. SO comfortable! I also love the tempur-pedic pillow

The most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. We had a TempurPedic a number of years ago, but it was hot. This mattress is so cool and comfortable, I fall asleep faster and sleep all night. I also bought an adjustable base with it and it has cured my snoring. I would recommend this mattress to anyone. Definitely a five star (+) product.

The delivery was excellent, efficient and caring about our home. Set up was good and right on time. We have had great sleep every night since we got our mattress. After so many nights tossing and turning we finally found the perfect mattress. We never even thought we would get a tempurpedic mattress but we were so happy with her sales person and the way we were shown every type of mattress and all choices we could make.

I never knew sleeping can be this good. With this mattress i sleep fast peacefully and when i wake up i feel refreshed after a comfortable amazing sleep. Also its a therapy for back issues. Me and my husband both have bak issues and now its improving. I love this mattress

We went with the Temper-ProAdapt Soft for both of us....We love them. More comfortable than our old mattress! We ordered them directly with Tempur-Pedic, and have had a great experience. This is my second Tempurpedic mattress. The first was the old DeluxeBed model, a medium firm mattress that was about a 6.0 on the firmness scale. It took a while to soften up and the unused side was still as hard as a rock after 12 years but it was great for alleviating lower back pain. My arthritis in the hip has worsened with time and age so I selected the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid with a 4.5 rating as a replacement mattress for more pressure relief. I was told it is their most popular model, especially among women, and the three year old floor model was not overly soft. My new mattress took no time to break in but after three weeks of use, it seems a little mushy. I weigh about 200 pounds and am a side sleeper. I will try it for a couple more months but am concerned that the Medium Hybrid might be too soft for me.

Comparable to my Celebrity bed I purchased in 2009 but doesn't have a pillow top and it's not as high. My wife and I love it though. You spend at least 1/3 of your life sleeping, spend the money and get a TEMPURPEDIC. I plan on being a customer for life. The ProbAdapt Soft is similar to a medium firmness but it's so comfortable. Also has a great warranty.

I have been suffering from back pain for years and had back surgery 2 yrs ago. Before I got my new Tempur-Pedic Mattress I dreaded having to lay down on anything as they would only exacerbate my back pain and even after taking my pain meds I would be up all night in terrible pain. Now that I have my Temper-Pedi Mattress I am able to finally get a good night sleep. I so look forward to laying on it that it has become my favorite place to relax. I never thought that I would ever feel this comfortable again. I am a happy camper now.

The mattress, etc. was delivered on Feb. 13th. It is distinctly different from our former mattress. First, it has a soft top and firm inner support. Thus far, we find it very comfortable. My husband was unable to sleep on our former mattress because of hip and back issues. The Tempur-Ergo adjustable base is an additional plus.
