My husband and I thought we would give this mattress a try and I really like it! My hips would bother me on our old mattress, but this mattress is so....much better. We had what I call ditches (ha) from our hips and shoulders on the old one. It is not hot at all. It does take a little getting use too. Only issue I have is it's hard to change the sheets. I have my hubby help me and all is good.

We selected the "firm" as per in store examples and seemed to be okay and comfortable, The mattress that was delivered is as hard as our floor. We added a topper which did not help. After 3 weeks I have finally created a somewhat softer area that I stay within but getting up is more like climbing out! My wife has since moved to the sofa as she has prior back issues. This is the worst excuse for a mattress ever created!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially got the medium firmness and was able to exchange the mattress for the soft firmness during the "trial period" for a $175 fee, of course. Medium was just a little too firm for us. Customer service was great and accommodating. The mattress itself is amazing. My wife and I are shift workers and have always had trouble with getting a good night sleep. Now that is a thing of the past. When we're home and sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic we finally sleep all the way through the night. It's spectacular

My husband and I have had our new mattress for almost one month. Both of us suffer from arthritis and we have experienced no shoulder or hip pain as we did with our previous mattress. I especially like the fact that I don't feel movement when he is changing positions in bed. I am also sleeping much cooler. This mattress is worth the investment. I also purchased a pillow which has helped decrease my neck pain tremendously. Still awaiting my sheets.

The issue is not with the product. I recently requested an exchange for my newly purchased mattress, to an upgraded more expensive model. Now, keep in mind that it took 32 days to receive my first mattress, including the adjustable bases. (that was also a fight to get) We are coming on 14 days and I still have not received my exchange mattress. I have called more times than I care to mention. Ever time I call, the wait time is awful long. When I finally speak to a "customer" service rep, I get an answer of your order will process in 5 to 7 days, call back. Along with the lovely " have I helped you? and is there anything else I can do?" HA!! You haven't done anything. So, I call back once again. 7 days to be fair. The response, I am sorry, it takes 7 to 10 days for your order to process. So, I call on day 10, then told to call back again. That it takes 10 to 14 days. Today, after being told not once but twice to speak to a special department and being on hold. AND hung up on twice. I am still no where. And calling on day 15. DO NOT, DO NOT purchase from on-line. Find a store, compare your prices. Do not get stuck in this horrible nightmare! When I asked if I could cancel my whole order and how long it would take for funds to be retransmitted. 10 to 14 days.......

The delivery team arrived Monday, October 21, 2019 a Wonderful morning at 9:15am.... I was so excited to finally have my new bed after many months of remodeling my house. The delivery guys were so polite and courteous, simply outstanding, second to none! A special thank you to Sleep Outfitters' Danville KY store Manager, Tish O'Rea!!!She was so helpful, patient and kind during the purchase plight for a new mattress set. There were many changes along the way and Sleep Outfitters made every one of them effortless and a wonderful experience overall. My joints don't ache as much anymore. I am so happy to go to sleep instead of dreading it. I Don't wake up in the middle of the night. The Zero Gravity setting is my absolute favorite!!! It truly feels like I'm floating!!!Words cannot put how I feel about my bed...Love Love Love My Tempur Pedic!!! Thank you Tish for caring about the customer and giving such excellent customer service-you're the best! I'm Never going back to a standard mattress AGAIN!!! I am a forever a customer and will tell everyone that they have to see, test and purchase a Tempur Pedic and meet Tish O'Rea!!!

I'm a side sleeper, he's a back sleeper, our giant dog is an every where every way all over us sleeper and we are ALL sleeping fantastically well! Only downside is that the mattress depth makes finding properly fitting sheets difficult. Glad I picked up 2 sets from Tempur-Pedic with my promo cash. I definitely recommend getting a few sets of the sheets as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We slept on an old, lightly used traditional guest room mattress for over 10 years that was given to us when we got married. This is a completely different and improved experience for us. I sleep on my back with wrist braces on and rarely turn side to side. I was having back pain each morning and would awaken early due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. We decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. When shopping we came across many hybrids but when they told us that tempur-pedic was the brand recommended by doctors for people with back problems I was sold. Why not get the mattress I might need in the years to come anyway- its like wearing orthotics in your your shoes. We went for the hybrid model to have a little more structure to the mattress but got the more expensive version of the model we were looking at to get the few more inches of foam and I think it was worth it. Hopefully it may make our mattress comfortable for longer (that is our hope). I no longer wake up multiple times a night due to back pain or hearing the springs move and make noises when my husband tosses and turns. We both sleep much better. I no longer look forward to taking trips and having to sleep on a different mattress, because now I love mine and I know that nothing will match it when we travel. It's actually a great feeling to know that your best sleep is the sleep you have at home a majority of the time. I do recommend the 5'' bed base, the 9'' was too high and we would have needed a stool to get into bed. I really wanted a 7'' which is my one recommendation to temper-pedic but the 5'' feels natural for us when getting in and out of bed for people our height (5'6"-5'10"). We have had the mattress for 4-5 months now. We would definitely buy it again.

It has caused me back and neck pain. I can't get to sleep at night because it is so uncomfortable. I have slept in the back of a pickup truck when I was younger when we went camping that was more comfortable. I regret the day that I purchased this over priced horrible mattress. I'm sure temper - pedic will not do anything about it. Once you buy it it's yours forever and ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the original Tempurpedic bed, which I really like, for over 12 years, so when it was time for something new, I upgraded to the Medium Hybrid. I thought I great bed before, but the new one is so good it's beyond words. This sleeps cooler, is firmer around the edges, and is just fantastic all around. It is almost indescribable how comfortable this bed is. It's almost like sleeping on air. It is truly amazing. I've tried to think of something I don't like about it but really can't find anything. I love this bed more than I can put in words.
