[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard surface, doesn't sink in yet somehow it is so comfortable. After a long day with my whole body hurting I go to bed and wake up in the morning feeling like I have slept for two days. Even with my 5 hour sleep nights I feel rested in the morning.

I was skeptical to purchase the actual TEMPUR-ProAdapt Hybrid. For one, the cost was intimidating and two, we had an off brand Memory foam that didn't last as long as I'd hoped nor did I experience much relief. My husband and I both suffer from recurring back and neck pain - due to herniations, disc degeneration etc. Getting up early because my back hurt too much became the norm for me. (And when I say early I mean 4:30 am regardless of what time I went to bed). I then herniated another disc that had me wheel chair bound for a month. After that experience, and thankfully I'm almost pain free now, I decided to spend the money because, if your health is off your whole life is off. We have had the Tempur-proadapt hybrid split King and I am SO SO very happy we invested in our health. The zero gravity feature is amazing to let your body relax right before sleep. I'm sleeping all through the night (hardly ever did that even when my back was healthy) and actually want to stay in bed in the morning. I'm amazed and will never go back to a regular mattress or an "off-brand" memory foam!!!!

This mattress is amazing. I had a memory foam mattress from another company for awhile. I purchased the Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Hybrid with the Ease adjustable base. It's amazing. It's so comfortable and the base makes it so much better sleeping. I put it in zero G and wake up refreshed every day. I combined it with a Tempur Cloud pillow and it's also great. The mattress isn't too soft or firm. I'm comfortable and supported. No motion transfer, my kids jump on it to wake me up and I can't feel them.

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.

Wife and I originally tried the luxeAdapt bed which turned out to be really firm (despite being the softest model). When speaking to customer service, they made it very easy to switch within our 90 day window. I expected to jump through hoops to make that happen, but everyone I spoke to was very positive and made this exchange painless. The ProAdapt Soft is a much better bed for us due to being smaller. Very happy with our purchase!

We are a long-term customer of tempur-pedic. We have slept on 2 mattresses over the course of 8 years. Both mattresses lost support and have begun to significantly sag within 2 years. We are not heavy by any means. My husband is 185 lbs. and I am 135 lbs. We use 2 waterproof mattress covers to ensure no sweat gets through, as my husband is a hot sleeper. We have BOTH developed nerve damage in our necks due to the sagging! We have been going to physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to fix this for the last year and a half. Our arms go numb at night with excruciating tingling pain in the elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. I have lost many nights of sleep trying to make this pain go away. My husband the same. After we went out of town and slept on a different bed, we knew the issue was with the mattress. Our first mattress we were able to return with warranty. The second however they won't allow it. The dip isn't large enough, which is completely inaccurate! Customer service is subpar. Quality is less than desirable for the cost of the mattress. I will NEVER purchase a tempur-pedic again. It seems their quality has diminished tremendously over the last 10 years. Don't waste your money.... You'll pay for it double time in health costs due to chronic pain and nerve damage.

We have had a Tempur-Pedic Mattress for 20 years in the Master Bedroom and loved it. In fact liked it so much we got one for the MotorHome 15 years ago. It was time to get a new mattress as we had pushed the first one to the limit and it was still performing fairly well. But the new Tempur-ProAdapt Firm is wonderful! Nice night sleeping and feel refreshed on awakening. Even with Twin XL mattresses on the king base, they stay where they belong and do not walk or part. One thing I do not like is at our age it is a heavy mattress for us to lift to change the bedding but we are handling it.

For the price and the fact that I ordered the mattress in soft, the bed still feels really firm and not at all like the ones displayed in the showroom. I woke up with aches the next day. I had to get a mattress topper to try and add some give to the mattress but again, there are plenty of options out there that will give the same results without the exhorbitant price.

It took me about 30 days to adjust to this, mattress. But now that I have I would not give it up. It is so comfortable, that I now sleep all night. Where before I would wake up 2 or 3 times a night, being very uncomfortable. My back was hurting so much, I no longer have back aches after sleeping all night.

So far I am satisfied with my mattress. I am hoping that the mattress will soften up somewhat more after it breaks in. I does retain a little body heat. I'm hoping that will not be an issue this summer. Overall, I am happy with my mattress and would recommend it.
