The Pro Adapt soft is not what I would call soft. It is firm with a little hug to your body. Easy to turn over in. The cooling gel center doesn't really help a lot when having a hot flash, but the mattress doesn't sleep hot. We have only been sleeping on this for a month. My shoulder would hurt after sleeping, not any more. They tell us it will get softer. I think it will be 5 stars then.

The first night I slept in my new bed I went right to sleep. No tossing an turning absolute comfort. I just had my hips replaced and had a great deal of trouble sleeping. This is the first time I awoke with no headache or backache. I just love it an it makes me want to go to bed earlier than I use to.

Not an easy process to file a mattress claim. You will be denied unless "there are 3/4" (inch) or greater visible indentations". Proper forms and photos were sent. Mattress is 2 years old. It's a lot of trouble to get nothing in return. The standard I paid for is not the standard of service I received . Claim was denied. Make sure you are aware of what you are purchasing and will get for the huge amount of money you will spend for a mattress .

We are a long-term customer of tempur-pedic. We have slept on 2 mattresses over the course of 8 years. Both mattresses lost support and have begun to significantly sag within 2 years. We are not heavy by any means. My husband is 185 lbs. and I am 135 lbs. We use 2 waterproof mattress covers to ensure no sweat gets through, as my husband is a hot sleeper. We have BOTH developed nerve damage in our necks due to the sagging! We have been going to physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to fix this for the last year and a half. Our arms go numb at night with excruciating tingling pain in the elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. I have lost many nights of sleep trying to make this pain go away. My husband the same. After we went out of town and slept on a different bed, we knew the issue was with the mattress. Our first mattress we were able to return with warranty. The second however they won't allow it. The dip isn't large enough, which is completely inaccurate! Customer service is subpar. Quality is less than desirable for the cost of the mattress. I will NEVER purchase a tempur-pedic again. It seems their quality has diminished tremendously over the last 10 years. Don't waste your money.... You'll pay for it double time in health costs due to chronic pain and nerve damage.

I'm 6'2", 270. larger than your average human man. I have chronic lower back issues. For many years, I urged my partner to get a Tempur-pedic and he finally agreed after seeing many videos about the new cooling cover. We got it about 30 days ago and my first thought was that it was too firm. Now I feel it's just right. PERFECT for both of us, actually. I hope it lasts, that is my only concern, as it's pricey.

This type of mattress is not working for my husband and I. After reading positive reviews on this product we had high hopes this would be the mattress for us. We have been sleeping on it for almost one month and I wake up everyday with neck and lower back pain. I am on the smaller side and I just do not feel it conforming to my body the way the salesperson described.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my new firm tempurpedic mattress I've had he best sleep I've had in years. I sleep through the night, and feel supported at every point. It's been especially helpful because of a recent back injury. I can't think of any drawbacks honestly. It's expensive, but good sleep is worth it. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, so it's worth the investment in yourself. I wake up more refreshed and energized than i have in years of sleeping on my old mattress.

We bought a Tempur-pedic mattress decades ago when they first came out... Then year's ago we bought a Sleep Number Adjustable bed... Now once again, we own a Tempur-pedic with their adjustable base. There is no comparison to the comfort and the base operates much smoother than the SN.

There are no words to describe how much more comfortable our bed feels. My wife and I sleep solidly through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and pain free. Just the feeling of crawling into bed at night and crawling out in the morning is magical. We are amazed at how our new mattress has improved the overall quality of life. We were skeptical about buying it at first because it was expensive but now having slept on it for a couple of weeks we have absolutely no regrets, it is worth every penny!!!!!

My previous mattresses were a Sealy coil/box spring and most recently a Simmons Beauty Rest coil/box spring which I had for almost 10 years . In the last six to eight months with the Simmons, I started feeling back pain as the middle of the mattress started to sag. The first couple of nights on the Tempur-Pedic felt foriegn compared to what I'd been used to for a decade; now that I've been sleeping on it for 10 weeks, I can easily say that it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. At first, I wondered if the medium Hybird was too firm, but no; after less than a week, I now sleep very, very good every single night. Yes, Tempur-Pedic mattresses are expensive but they are worth the price, I have no regrets. I work a lot of hours all the time, averaging about 5 1/2-6 hours of sleep 6 of 7 days a week. I needed something really comfortable allowing me to fall asleep quick in the hours I have which is what the Tempur-Pedic offers. Oh yah, I have the pillows too, which are very nice.
