I have been sleeping on this bed for a couple weeks now and it has been some of the best sleep I have had in a long time. This bed is amazing. I like a very firm bed and it is quite firm but it also has some give and conforms to your body. I like that it doesn't make me hot at night so I sleep comfortably.

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.

We have used this mattress for the past 3 weeks and haven't slept this well in a long time. Needed to transition to a firm mattress, and it has made a difference. The mattress itself sleeps cool. One of our biggest concerns was the idea of "sinking" into the mattress - that does not happen. We also splurged on the Tempurpedic Luxe Egyptian Cotton Sheets - again, amazing. This only added to our experience with this bed.

I'm 57 years old and for 25 years I woke up with lower back pain, literately had to grab my knee to get out of bed every single morning. I accepted that it was just going to be that way the rest of my life. My wife talked me into this mattress and i hesitantly went for it. In retrospect, the best move I ever made. Back pain completely gone the first night. It is amazing to wake up and not be in pain. Worth every penny!!

I have been sleeping on a firm mattress my entire 60+ years, as that was told me to be "good for my back". But for the past year my hips and shoulders were aching all day, and I woke multiple times through the night. My family referred me to the Tempurpedic, and suggested a soft mattress. After just 1 night's sleep, I have no aches and pains. I now sleep through the night, every night, and wake up feeling refreshed and energetic.

I have not had a nights rest in years without back pain. Went to Mattress Firm and spent 3 hours laying on mattresses to finally be convinced to try a tempurpedic. I am SO glad that I did. It has been phenomenal. I LOVE the zero gravity too. Have slept like a baby with NO back pain! Would 100% recommend!

I suffer from back pain, sleep apnea, and I am a side sleeper. This mattress has definitely made a difference in a getting a great nights sleep! I highly recommend. I love that I don't wake up hot in the middle of the night. My husband and I initially tried a different brand mattress and only had it for a month before returning it. We decided upon the tempur-pedic adapt hybrid medium. I am extremely happy with our purchase!!

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. Me da pena porque después de casi tres meses, mi colchón todavía no se siente suave y cómodo. Changed my very old but hardly used queen-size firm mattress and decided to reward myself with a tempur pedic. The experience with the retail store wasn't the best, having to have the mattress changed 4 different times due to wrong mattress delivery. I purchased the king size (split) medium hybrid pro adapt but they delivered the soft mattress by mistake the first time. Tried it for 2 nights and didn't like it. They picked up the soft mattress only to deliver a medium mattress. Again, tried it for a month (per the store's recommendation), but returned it after a month and they finally delivered the correct mattress after 2 1/2 months. It took me almost a week before I truly appreciated the mattress. At first, I found it hard to move and change positions, and also still found the mattress a little firm to my liking. It all changed after a week or so. Waking up in the morning has been less painful with no struggles, and no muscle and/or back pains. I love that the mattress have some kind of cooling effect. Choosing the medium-hybrid was the right decision. I enjoy the versatility of the base and its special features. The only thing I didnt particularly like was how the sheets get out of place every time I use the incline/decline positions of the base. I fixed the problem by buying suspenders :).

I am a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress for 25 years. It was time to upgrade to a new one, so I purchased a Tempur-ProAdapt Medium mattress together with their ProSmart bed base 10 months ago from the Tempurpedic website. The mattress is somewhat comparable to my 25-year-old Tempurpedic mattress but took some time to get use to how much lighter the mattress is and the dimensions of it. Which brings me to this review. I thought a buyer should know that the measurements of the mattresses sold are not 60 x 80. My mattress is 58 X 78 (2 whole inches less) than a typical standard queen size mattress. Their website does have a caveat stating the sizes are approximate, but the two-inch difference in size does cause issues with my fitted bottom sheets bunching nightly because they do not fit tightly on the mattress. I then bought sheets from the Tempurpedic website because they supposedly were designed for their beds and have straps on them to keep them in place but unfortunately, they also bunch up. I mistakenly bought three sets from Tempuredic thinking they would work better for their mattresses, but they do not. In fact, after opening up and using just one set, the other two are sitting in my linen closet unopened. I absolutely love their smart base and highly recommend it. Overall, the Pro-Adapt mattress took some getting used to it since it is built differently from the one I bought 25 years ago, but I still wouldn't trade it for a traditional mattress. The bunching of the bottom sheet during the night is a real nuisance though.
