This is my 2nd tempur pedic. 11 years ago I bought a firm classic twin, & it was the first mattress I could sleep on that I never had any pain. For 11 years I used that mattress, & slowly saved up for a new one. I recently bought an adapt medium twin, but it was too soft & gave me pain. So I exchanged it for a firm pro adapt twin, & know that it will serve me well as did my first tempur pedic twin. I will have this one for a long time to come. Thank you for providing such a good product, especially for people with back issues. I only wish it were not so expensive.

I just got my queen sized ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 3 weeks ago. You can tell that it is different from other mattresses the first time that you sit/lay on it. It contours to your body and does ehlp pressure points such as knees, hips, and shoulders. It is still a bit on the firm side but that is to be expected as outlined in other reviews and from the store that I bought it from. I am using a comforter as a mattress topper and it creates a softer surface to sleep onI I am going to give it 90 days of use before writing a complete review. I got a BOGO on Tempurpedic pillows when I bought the bed so I am probably going to spring for a couple of pillows. If the pillows are anything like the bed, I am sure that they will be very comfortable

We upgraded to this mattress from a "hybrid" Sterns & Foster. My wife has severe scoliosis and needed a pure foam, firm mattress. The Pro-Adapt is just a great mattress. Cool, super supportive, and really terrific for people who have spinal issues such as my wife. I love it too. Best mattress of about a dozen that I've owned in my life. Wish it were cheaper, because then I'd buy two more for the other bedrooms.

We bought the ProAdapt Hybrid medium with the adjustable base. Works silently and efficiently to cater to both our needs. Mattress is firm and supportive - bringing a high level of comfort and a good night's sleep.

We had a mattress for a year but it was very uncomfortable. We upgraded to the Tempurpedic ProAdapt and have been much happier. As I write this we have been using this mattress for nearly a year. It's just envelopes you in the perfect way . . .now if we could just find pillows that we love as much as our mattress.

Over the years (as I am 64) my back has degenerated to the point a regular mattress is NOT comfortable. A year ago I had spinal fusion and a spacer inserted in my lower back. Unfortunately, Scoliosis runs in my family and our daughter was born with it. The TempurPedic has been a great product for our family. I am so grateful this product is available to us through our Military Exchange. We are forever grateful TempurPedic supports the military. The Pro Adapt soft is not what I would call soft. It is firm with a little hug to your body. Easy to turn over in. The cooling gel center doesn't really help a lot when having a hot flash, but the mattress doesn't sleep hot. We have only been sleeping on this for a month. My shoulder would hurt after sleeping, not any more. They tell us it will get softer. I think it will be 5 stars then.

I have a severe case of cyatica and I needed a new bed to sleep on because I could not sleep on my old one I was waking up in too much pain so with the temper pedic and an adjustable base I am able to sleep again in bed with no pain and I'm comfortable.

Tempurpedic mattresses are always very comfortable and allow you to sleep all night - but the lack of a spring response in a typical Tempurpedic can make getting in and out of the bed - and undertaking any other activities that are better with a little bounce - somewhat tedious. However, the ProAdapt solves those issues - while maintaining the comfort of sleeping on a Tempurpedic, when you're sleeping.... I got the new adjustable base too and love it - the Zero Gravity setting is amazing. Note that the foot of the bed is up really high when you're in this position - like literally 4 feet off the ground - which is fine for the person in the bed but I can't imagine somebody else or a pet trying to join you or depart - instructions state that the bed should be flat when you get in and out of it so that shouldn't be an issue.
