Don't know how they do it! When I slapped my hand on the bed, it felt close that of a "redgit board". Then, when you lay down on the mattress, it like sinking into a cloud (Just an analogy as I have never slept on a cloud - full disclosure here). The mattress simply adjusts to your entire body and gives you the most comfortable sleep ever. I guess the secret formula will never bare its sole.

Our former bed was not good & left us feeling unrest in the morning. Once we got this bed we both where able to get a excellent night sleep , increased out motivation. So much that my partner had enough energy to start working out again & lost 15 pounds and no longer needs surgery . He's still has minor back issues but that from driving all day at his job but NOTHING like before . He can actually walk 4 miles vs. not being able to walk at round the block ! Sleep is everything & affects so many areas of a persons life. I highly recommend this bed. The service we received though out the process was great , from ordering it to set up was easy & no issues . It's one of the best moves we made !

Love the adjustable feature, especially if stuffy nose, neck sore etc. We bought a split king-it's nice to have separate adjustments for position. Does not sleep hot at all-temperature very consistent. Have only had for a few months but comfy immediately and has not dented/sunk. Takes no time at all to get comfortable. My neck has felt great since getting this bed. Cons: ordering process was chaotic. It took longer than expected without much communication. I'm kind of bony and don't move much in my sleep-the bed is so comfy I don't really move so my arms are both going numb if I sleep on my side. No problems in other beds. Also, split king is hard if you have small kids-someone ends up "in the crack" if they get in bed with you. The crack isn't terrible but I often wish we had gotten the king.

Best mattress I've ever had! Took about a week to break in. Took about 3 weeks for the new smell to subside. Very comfortable, if you are comparing the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid to the Probreeze Medium Hybrid, the Pro Adapt is a tad softer than the Probreeze. Would never buy a regular mattress again, Tempurpedic is the way to go.

Got this mattress to replace our 12 year old Tempur-Pedic. My wife and I find this hybrid design to be much more comfortable, and no minor aches we had with the older mattress. We didn't expect this big a difference, and are glad we made the purchase. Well worth the money! FIVE STARS ALL DAY LONG!

I absolutely love this bed. It's so comfortable. I went from a very hard bed that I returned to another company so I know there's a work in period but it's still comfortable for me. They came and set it up very quick. I got the Ease base with it and although that didn't work right away within the next week since I worked all week they came out and fixed it.

As a teen I had adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, the result being a fusion of a eight inch rod in my back. I am now close to 68, over the years l worked 8 to 10 hours a day doing heavy lifting and standing on hard concrete floors. I also carried 2 sets of twins. As I have gotten older, I now have degenerative scoliosis in my lower back with 5 bad disc, I don't let that slow me down. I still mow my 2 acre lawn, do all the yard work including the weed wacking. Most days I am so sore I can hardly walk, as I take nothing for pain, but I sleep like a baby. Best investment I have ever made. I always wanted a Tempur Pedic, but couldn't afford one. I really wish I had bought one years ago. I love the way it conforms to my body. I sleep really well and wake up with little or no pain at all. I am more than really happy and the price was well worth it, and I would gladly payed more, just for the comfort and the best nights sleep that I have had in forty years, no kidding. I love my new mattress. I very highly recommend a Tempur Pedic to everyone.

This is the first new bed my husband has every slept on. He is almost 50 years old and has only had hand me down or used mattresses his whole life. I finally convinced him to slurge on a new bed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Tempur Pro-Adapt, Medium Hybrid. I have never owned a mattress with such support. You can really feel the difference in quality with this mattress then compared to others at a department store. The mattress itself is HEAVY to cary, but that just goes to show how much goes into this mattress to alow us to sleep comfortably. I am a side sleeper and normally I cannot sleep on my back. However, with this Tempur mattress I am able to sleep in ANY position, even on my stomach. My boyfriend has back pain often and not just one spot. Ever since I bought this mattress he has not complained about back pain since. It has been months since I purchased this mattress and I am so glad that I did. If you want to invest your money in a great product that will last you years, this is it.
