I purchased a new mattress after 17 years on a Kingstown posturepedic. I chose the temper pedic based on its name and reputation. I have only been sleeping on it for 19 sleeps thus far. I am still unsure of my complete feelings of whether I made the right decision which is a big one in my opinion. The medium firmness and the blend of foam with the coils/springs of the hybrid gave me piece of mind as far as I believe that this mattress will hold its shape and form longer then the strictly foam versions. I read alot of reviews that may or may not support that theory. In my opinion it's the best of both worlds. The medium firmness is not too soft and not top firm. The mattress does sleep warm, something to get used to. I have neck and back issues and tend to wake up every couple hours to either shift sleeping positions or to relieve pressure points. I have had a few nights on my new mattress that I actually slept for a 4 to 5 hour block without waking up which is new for me. I also wake up feeling more energized and overall more well rested. I also purchased an adjustable base which is nice for watching tv and reading. Last night I fell asleep on my back with the head and feet elevated. This was nice until at some point I rolled to my side and found it uncomfortable. I used the remote to go back to a complete horizontal position. I was given a mattress protector as part of a promotion which is a must! I am currently using this on top of the original temper cover. The original mattress protector completely encases the mattress and would be a process to remove and wash. I also switched to a lighter weight sheet set 2 nights ago hoping to eliminate the bed sleeping as warm. I do like the low profile of this mattress, it makes it much easier to get in and out of bed, as before with a box spring, mattress, and foam mattress topper I had a hard time getting in and out of bed. I am still deciding the pros and cons of this bed. I would say at this point the pros outweigh the cons.

But given a few weeks it loosened up and has stayed comfortable since. My only complaint is sometimes I do get hot, but I sleep hot normally and it is in the hot summer months now. I should've probably bought the cooling pro adapt mattress but just couldn't move myself to spend the extra grand on that price tag. But I'm happy enough with my mattress so I'm set.

This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. We read the reviews and know experience a truly amazing sleep. Our Tempur-pedic mattress is extremely nicer than anything we have slept on. Husband is a touch on the heavier side for 5'10" & I am average sized 5'4" in our 40's. We bought the Pro-Adapt Medium/Hybrid King size & love how we don't feel the other toss/turn or get up at night. The convenience of zip off top cover to keep is hypoallergenic made this an easier decision. We hope this brings us many years of comfort & joy : if you know what I mean.

Very happy with the way the mattress sleeps. Only complaint is its so comfortable and with no cording on the edge I sometimes wake up feeling like I'm sliding out of the bed. But, still love it and it's a huge improvement for my husband who suffers with a bad back.

But after the first couple of nights I noticed the pain in my back I normally feel when waking up was completely gone. I love this bed and expect it to last a long time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very nervous purchasing this bed not only because of the price but the extreme firmness of the mattress. Most mattresses out there that call themselves firm really are not. I thought this one would be like sleeping on a rock, but it forms to your body enough to ease lower back pain, but you don't feel like you are sinking in. My husband has a lot of back pain and is in a physical job, and he was in love with this bed from night one. We both love it and hope to have it for many many years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered king size firm mattress. Very comfortable. Fit perfectly into our Queen Anne bed frame. Correct height, very sturdy frame, and mattress form fits to body. So comfortable. I love the support system too. It is easy to use, and having my back and feet up is a lovely way to start my day with coffee and end my day with a good book.

I've have semi-quality mattresses all my life. This one kills them all. I bought a FIRM because is stops me from the tossing and turning. I also have Sleep Apnea. 1 Month into this mattress and I'm hooked. I have nights I don't recall tossing or turning. My body is well rested and I'm adjusting to the firmness of my mattress. I also purchased 2 Cloud Firm Pillows and 2 Neck Pillows. All well worth the investment of many years of restful sleep.

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.
