[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is much thicker than my old firm Beautyrest mattress. Even though I ordered a soft, it isn't quite as soft as I'd have liked. The memory foam top lets me sink in but, I miss the bounce of the old mattress. But, the proof is in the sleeping and I don't have any of the aches and pains that my old mattress gave me. I do sleep much better on this S and F mattress, no doubt about it. I also like the handles built into this mattress, which my old one didn't have. Important note: this mattress is much thicker than my old and had to replace the old 9" foundation with a thinner 5" one, which I ordered from Stearns and Foster. The old foundation with new mattress had me way off the floor! The new foundation is better than the old one, in any case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I called Stearns & Foster for help to find out which current model of mattress equated to my 10-year-old S&F mattress -- I wanted to buy a new mattress that is as supremely comfortable as the one I had been sleeping on (Stearns & Foster 'Tuscan Summer') since July 2014. Sydney in the Kentucky office was the best customer service person I have spoken to in many, many years -- she had all the answers, some to questions I didn't know to ask. She offered all the current promotional prices available, explained all the delivery procedures, and ordered the Estate mattress for me during our call. I could hardly believe how easy it was.

Fabulous mattress! Soft on top so it really hugs you and a nice firm support underneath. Both my wife & I are sleeping better. We had a 15 year old Temperpedic Cloud Supreme, this mattress feels much nicer than the original one when it was new and it doesn’t sleep “hot” like it as well! We love our new mattress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Stearns and Foster mattress. We loved our first one but when it needed replaced, we decided to try a memory foam mattress. That was a big mistake! That bed was only comfortable for less than a year. We just replaced it with a new Stearns and Foster and couldn't be happier. We are sleeping much better, have less hip and back aches through the night, and we know this mattress will last much longer than the memory foam one we had.

Since the first night we have had this, our sleep has been better and some of the aches and pains that we had in the morning are now gone. There is truly nothing negative to say about this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Stearns and Foster mattress. I only bought the new one because we wanted to upgrade to a king from a queen size. My 6 year old queen was still holding strong! My husband and I are Stearns and Foster customers for life! No other mattress brand is more comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of our top two choices after trying dozens of mattresses in multiple stores. Quality, construction, and materials are all excellent. Delivery speed and setup were A+. Unfortunately, within days, we found many problems that make it impossible to get a good, full night's sleep. 1) Poor Temperature Regulation: became too hot within minutes. 2) Lack of Support: Felt our bodies sinking slowly all through the night, due to the memory foam layers not providing consistent support. 3) Lack of Resilience: After just two weeks, found our bodies had left deep impressions that did not return to normal. 4) Lack of comfort: we have woken with pain in our backs, buttocks, hips, shoulders, and legs. 5) Irregular surface: the deep tufting creates an uncomfortably uneven sleep surface. All these problems persist even after several weeks. This is despite this being exact model that was our top choice in the showroom. The delivered mattress feels as if it contains considerably more memory foam than the showroom model, and all the negative characteristics of memory foam (heat retention, lack of support, feeling of being trapped in quicksand) have proven far worse than our worst fears. We have been forced to buy mattress toppers, mattress pads, and new pillows just to be able to sleep through the night -- none of which we expected from such an expense, high-quality, brand-name mattress. So unfortunately we do plan on returning our Estate Tight Tip Soft King mattress for a refund.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is really hard to find a truly firm mattress in todays market. All of the mattress stores only want to cary pillow top models. The y are more expensive so stores make more money on those models. However, for those with any disc/back issues - a super firm mattress is critical to spine health and day to day mobility. I am so glad that ordering our preferred model directly from Stearns & Foster - with complimentary white glove delivery - was an option. We could not be more plesed and well rested

My father used to own a furniture store years ago in Portland OR. He swore by Sterns and Foster mattresses. He gave us our first S and F mattress as a married couple and we used that mattress for many years before needing a new one. I will likely pass away before I ever need another new one. The mattress I selected is half way between medium and firm and perfect for a senior like me who was used to a firm mattress. I don't like to sink into a too soft mattress as it makes my arms go to sleep whereas a medium firm one is just right (said Mama Bear to Papa Bear, Baby Bear and Goldilocks).
