We purchased two twin Xl mattresses, one firm for me and a soft one for my husband. I love a firm mattress and this one hasn't disappointing me. I really enjoy the adjustable base and from the first night of use I haven't experience any backaches. I do find that the soft one that my husband uses is a little too soft. He has had some back pain, which he had experienced long before buying the new mattress and I attribute it to the mattress being too soft. He loves the adjustable base as well. We have only had the mattress for under 3 weeks. We are still testing it and he might end up exchanging for a medium firmness but he isn't sure yet of what he will do. Buying from City furniture gives us the option for a small fee exchanging it for a different firmness.

None of them lived up to our expectations and we continued to wake up in the morning tired and sore. Finally got a tempurpedic and could not be happier...wish we had done it years ago. Definitely recommend getting an adjustable base as well.

This is an amazing bed, both for the firmness and size. We purchased a King Firm and will never look back. We wanted to get this 5 years ago when my wife began experiencing severe lower back pain due to arthritis in the disc joints. However, we postponed and attempted numerous other 'back expert' options. After about 3 weeks the difference is night and day, and although she was not healed completely, her attitude towards the future is bright like I have not seen in ages. We're so grateful for this product, if you are on the fence, I recommend you go for it today!

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our other tempurpedic mattress was 14 years old and over the years became too soft. We replaced it with this mattress and now this one is also too soft. If you prefer medium-firm support, I wouldn't recommend this one. It started off firm, but is now hedging too soft in the sections that we use night after night. Interestingly, when one of us shifts to the middle of the mattress, it's perfectly firm. I didn't expect it to do this in such a short period of time and feel disappointed in the results.

I bet 90% of my aches and pains have diminished or disappeared completely since owning my Tempurpedic. I am amazed and so glad I was able to find a mattress that does what it's suppose to. I have owned numerous mattresses in my day but this will be my forever mattress now. They are pricey but if it works for you then worth every penny!

I Love my new bed! I sleep much better now. I love the fact that you can lift both the head of the bed and the foot of the bed. Both at the same time if you wish. I haven't experienced anything about the bed that I do not like. It certainly has made my life a lot better by giving me more comfortable sleep ! MMJ

The last few weeks I have woken with terrible kinks in my neck, hip pain and lower back pain. After sleeping on this for the first few nights I have been able to sleep through the night, and I have found that any current ailments due to my old mattress are starting to dissipate rapidly. I am so thankful for this Tempur-Pedic technology for finally getting me back to my normal self again.
